REKT Coin Creators Blame "The Internet" For Poor Market Performance - :Satire:

Anything that's true, can also be naught, because this is both... neither.

REKT coin creators are claiming that they were headed for the moon, when the world started using their vernacular to mean something completely different.

You see, in an alternate reality, Doge is nearly unheard of, but REKT coin is THE thing.

They felt it was about time to digitize and monetize a new pop-culture saying, but they "were ahead of..." their time, claim the originators. And this just in, deNile ain't just a river in Egypt.

REKT dev team overseers and marketing geniuses of the REKT team stated:

We saw how sayings like "this is dope" and "you are da illest" and the classic "oh that's so baaaaad" had permeated modern culture, over-stating the obvious coolness of something by saying it was a negative. We had a vision that we could be that next 'something' that took the world by storm, and we wanted to cash in... you know, to make the world a better place. REKT Coin IS that iconic next saying. We were ahead of our time, but once it saturated the public consciousness, the world just took it as its own, and left our coin project behind.

There is a steady rise and final shock to the top in the internet's use of REKT that seems to correlate perfectly to the REKT Coin's sad looking performance chart, seen here:

The truth is, REKT Coin simply made investors angry when they told everyone:

In a positive note, the team seemed hopeful at the possibility people would focus less on an unimpressive performance visual, and instead consider their more valuable metric. Their ROI, or return on investment from it's launch value to present, is, at the very least, tracking at "no data available".
