On this Saturday afternoon we decided to give you a couple of updates that will make your collection on The Periodic Table of Elements even more valuable.
As we have written on other occasions we have decided to value your purchases and not induce you to burn money (NFT) to get more. This was one of the first rules we set ourselves right from the start when we started thinking about molecules.
Burning the elements to obtain molecules would have had two consequences:
- your loss of money (NFT)
- the need to be able to create new elements and therefore not fix a max supply
Today, however, we have decided to transgress a little to this rule of not burning NFT to make both, those who believe in the collection and those who do not believe, happy. We wanted to do a little bit of our mode.
We went to the market and saw that many Valentine's Day NFTs were for sale cheaply. We bought about 30 Valentine's Day NFTs, giving satisfaction to those who wanted to get rid of them even little, and we burned them, decreasing its supply and increasing the value to those who have decided to keep them. We hope it's a welcome action.
The Periodic Table of Elements WAX Book
The second much more important and interesting news is that we have our book for friends to see with all the NFTs in the collection.
Thanks to the splendid work done by @sebrock it is possible to browse your collection on dynamic pages at: https://sebrock.github.io/periodicelem-waxbook/#/
Connect to the page and enter your WAX address at the top. Flip through the pages and show your friends the elements in your collection and the missing pieces you are looking for.
The book is still being finalized and it may be that with some devices you do not see some images. Don't worry, we will try to improve it soon, but we were so excited about it and we like it so much that we decided not to wait long and to introduce it to you right away.
Remember to thank @sebrock in the comments, remembering to tag him.
In the next few articles we will introduce you to other collaborations with fantastic people and teams that we have known on this journey.
The Periodic Table NFT project
The Periodic Table NFT project aims to raise awareness of chemical elements in a modern key, basing the approach on blockchain and Non Fungible Token.
Day after day it will be possible to know the single elements that make up the table, to collect curiosities about each of them and about the table in general.
We are working to be able to learn, in a playful way, also what happens by combining the various elements.
The whole project is based on the collection of NFTs that can be bought on the site https://wax.atomichub.io/market?collection_name=periodicelem&order=desc&sort=created&symbol=WAX or by participating in simple giveaways published on publish0x.
