John Choi's impressive pedigree

He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Seoul National University in 2000, 2002, and 2006, respectively. Then as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Michigan and as a research staff member at NEC Laboratories America. In 2023, he became the dean of the Graduate School of AI.

John's research encompasses several key areas:

• AI for Education: Developing systems for knowledge tracing, recommendation algorithms, and reinforcement learning to enhance educational outcomes.
