Who is Korea University?
They were founded in 1905 and is currently ranked #7 for all schools in Asia and ranks #1 in Korea. They have 33,000 students spread across 18 colleges. They focus on Business, Law and Medicine
Why did they partner with Theta?
Korea University expressed a desire to take advantage of Theta EdgeCloud's GPU resources. Specifically gaining access to NVIDIA H100 GPUs to train advanced AI Models. This access will be through Universal Transfer Learning (UTL) Lab led by prestigious Professor Donghyun Kim. The University signed a multi-year agreement with Theta.
Theta EdgeCloud adoption has rapid growth in Asia.
Theta now has a stronghold on the academic schools in Asia with partnerships with Jamcoding, KAIST, Yonsei University and Seoul Women’s University, and now includes Korea University!
