Theta EdgeCloud expands Higher Edu ecosystem
A few short months back Theta announced a new ecosystem partner that was outside their traditional domain, specifically higher education.
Theta this week announced another addition to their higher education ecosystem Yonsei University.
What else do we know about Yonsei?
- The University is located in Seoul South Korea
- It was established in 1885
- It is ranked #56 globally by Topuniversities.com
Key Players from Yonsei
Assistant professor Dongha Lee in the Yonsei AI department. As well as their 30 PHD/Master students and facility!
What did Theta accomplish by signing Yonsei?
They signed a multi-year agreement for Theta's AI inference and training models. From that Yonsei already has an ambitious goal of creating plug-and-play table reasoner and summarizer. To assist in pulling insights from the AI models. Some of the potential outcomes could help all other industries and companies by enabling efficient interpretation of of massive datasets.
Expected Outcomes
Yonsei has strategic desire to leverage Theta's AI models via EdgeCloud savings budget costs for years to come. Allowing those funds to be invested in other areas than centralized AI offerings. Common good for all, sounds like a huge win for the little guy after Yonsei releases their toolsets (I assume they will release them to the open source community).

Summary
Theta now has two higher education partners and I fully expect Theta to court the academic research market and expand their ecosystem to bring AI to the masses via Peer-to-Peer AI enabled models. Anyone doubting Theta is still growing?
