Theta EdgeCloud: Unveiled Sketch-to-3D generative AI Model
Traditional generative AI Model (AKA GenAI) models to not support Image creation. Theta has once again worked its magic, this time in creating a Sketch-to-3D generative AI Model. Theta demonstrated this feature last week during the CEO's Ask Me Anything (AKA AMA) session.
What is it?
In a nutshell, it is a proprietary AI model pipeline, that has been under development for the better part of the last year as this is a very difficult task even for AI based systems. This new technology can take sketches from 2D and convert them to full 3D drawings. Theta Sketch-to-3D generative AI Model is now available on Theta EdgeCloud!
How did Theta accomplish this?
Theta broke down the process in 'stages' to ensure each phase preserved the prior work and enabled future enhancements will maintaining the integrity of each phases work. Part of the success comes from Google and Theta's collaboration efforts, particularly the “model-pipeline” concept that was presented in 2023 at the GoogleCloud conference.

Is Sketch-to-3D worth trying?
Absolutely, you should try it, but know up front this generation of Sketch-to-3D will require several minutes to load. Future roadmap already lines out increasing model load performance timelines.
