Weeks 31-37 Update

By ikigai | Dimes, Dollars & Dreams | 29 Apr 2022

I must admit my intention wasn't to release such a huge update this time or to take a break from writing this journey for so long. Essentially, I've had a lot to deal with, more on that later in the post. Now, let's see how the journey's progressing.

This is the week 31 update with the stats from 16-03-2022 to the week 37 update with the stats from 27-04-2022.

You can find previous weeks here:
Week 1 - Week 2 - Week 3 - Week 4 - Week 5 - Week 6 - Week 7 - Week 8 - Week 9 - Week 10 - Week 11 - Week 12 - Week 13 - Week 14 - Week 15 - Week 16 - Week 17 - Week 18 - Week 19 - Week 20 - Week 21 - Week 22 - Week 23 - Week 24 - Week 25 - Week 26 - Week 27 - Week 28 - Week 29 - Week 30

Okay, I'll do this update a bit differently from the usual.

Something to note is I'm missing stats from weeks 33 and 34. I forgot to track the stats for these weeks due to the events I was going through at the time. Since there's a lot to cover for us to be up to date, I'll just use stats from week 31 as the starting point and week 36 stats as the endpoint, then calculate the average earnings per week.

Week 31-36 crypto earnings:
Crypto in USD: ~$88.64

Average earnings per week: ~$14.77

Non-crypto earnings:
  • Arc.io: $7.833
  • BeerMoneyForum: $0.674
  • Earnapp: $5.12
Non-crypto = ~$13.62

Average earnings per week: ~$2.27

Week 31-36 total earnings: ~$102.26

Average earnings per week: ~$17.04

Week 37 crypto earnings:
Crypto in USD: ~$19.19

Crypto breakdown:

Aah, where do I start... Where have I been? I mentioned I had a lot to deal with... well, I had a high fever for a week, trouble with work, my phone broke, and I got a dog from a friend who didn't want to care for it anymore. I've also been going through a bit of a personal financial crisis. So yeah, I've been quite busy, which has left me with almost no time for this crypto journey. It's a shame really, but I'm not going anywhere even if I'm not publicly active for a short while. Also, to add to the problems, I'm rethinking my crypto journey's choices, thinking about where I can improve and where to cut down. I really enjoy crypto, but the unlimited nature of it is challenging to me at times, especially because I want to do everything but don't have the means and the time to do it all. Keeping things nice and simple isn't something I do a lot, and trying to balance the ensuing chaos is taking its toll on me here and there. Anyway, onto the real crypto breakdown of the week.

BTC has been quite stable lately, staying around 40k. I've been briefly following the course over these weeks and we almost reached $48k at some point too. Not bad, not bad at all. Other than that, there are a lot of changes I think I need to explain a bit. Firstly, we got 3 new additions: PNY, BAN, and BSW.  Now to my reasoning for adding these... PNY because I was suggested to get it for the amazing interest on Stakecube. I think it's something like 200% APY, I'm not quite sure. Either way, I converted all my small balances on SC to PNY, and now it's just sitting there making me something. BAN was added because I finally decided to start running the [email protected] and JTV on my PC. Honestly, I'm quite happy with it so far, it's making me about 15-30 BAN a day while I'm still "mining" BTC with my GPU. BSW is here because while I cashed out 8 BSW from Biswap, I never did much with it otherwise. Lately, I've noticed that Biswap has been adding a lot of nice staking options on their platform which has convinced me that I need to build up my BSW to participate. A minimum of 200 BSW is required to join the Holder Pools, which I intend to reach at some point. A few weeks ago Betfury had a Spring/Easter celebration and they had a Festive Box for BSW which I ended up buying as well. That'll make an extra 3 BSW for me in a week or so. Previously, I did speak about getting into DEXs, and I do think BSW is the way to go for the BSC options. I also want to build my MATIC side and get into Quickswap on a deeper level, but for now, I'll leave that for another time. Oh, and the small losses I had this past week were from me exchanging the currencies in question to LTC on Faucetpay. I had some leftover balances there and I know I can't move them elsewhere otherwise in a reasonable timeframe.

Some things have taken a turn I didn't expect. My whole plan for SPACE and DUTCHY was thrown out the window basically since they decided to change how their staking system works. Now DUTCHY for DUTCHY staking doesn't exist anymore, so the only thing I can use my DUTCHY for is staking it for SPACE. 20% APY isn't too bad though, and now every other staking is from SPACE to something (ATOM, SPACE, BTT, DUTCHY, SHIB or WAVES) so this isn't all useless, even if my detailed plans got completely screwed. This means I modified my long-term goals to accommodate this situation better, and I'll need to come up with a solid new plan soon~ish. BTCpop has fixed their site mostly if not all yet. Their faucets are working again, and this means my RDD amount should start accumulating at a bit faster rate. I've also heard good news about Ai.Marketing lately. They've nearly completed the fixes for their system, and if the withdrawals open within the next few months as their spokesperson thinks, that'd add another $200 to my total. I haven't been tracking the growth of that account into the stats just in case something happens and I lose it all. I'm still fairly actively claiming on Pipeflare, which means I have some unaccounted bits of SHIB, MATIC, and ZEC that I don't really track here. I do hold cents of many other currencies as well, but I just trade them for other currencies on my watchlist whenever possible. I do think that when 2 years come to an end and this journey "finishes", I'll be exchanging or at least counting in all of the crypto dust I have, even if I can't move them to more desirable places for my convenience.

The week's non-crypto earnings:
  • Arc.io: $1.812
  • BeerMoneyForum: $0.119
  • Earnapp: $0.42
Non-crypto = ~$2.35

Week 37 total earnings: ~$21.54

Crypto Idle Miner update: I've made a jump from Diamond league div. 21 to div. 17. My current HORA balance is around 20000.

Rollercoin update: This is progressing as every other week prior basically, I play a few games here and there. The payback is at 17.4% now. As I had previously expected, season 4 was released soon after my estimate. Once again, I do hope to participate in the season pass, however, this season is more costly than I was prepared for... but there are so many cool miners I want to get my hands on! I'm feeling quite conflicted about this whole thing. I guess I just need to wait things out and see how I feel about the season closer to the end, there are 30 days left after all. Here's the starting price for the pass:

CMC for the week 37 crypto (doesn't include DUTCHY)

As well as the portfolio allocation

The next week's goals I want to set up are:
  • Earn 100 RDD
  • Reach 2 PNY
  • Reach 130 SPACE

The long-term goals I have:
  • Reach 0.20 BTC ⟹ 11.6% done
  • Reach 1 LTC ⟹ 22.1% done
  • Reach 10 mil DUTCHY ⟹ 14.1% done
  • Reach 2500 FUN ⟹ 62.8% done
  • Reach 2100 BFG ⟹ 69.9% done
  • Reach 5000 RDD ⟹  30.3% done
  • Reach 1 DASH ⟹ 5.5% done
  • Reach 200 BSW ⟹ 7.8% done
  • Reach 1000 SPACE ⟹ 12.3% done

  • 100 SPACE - Reached on 26-01-2022

Progress to 10 000$:

17% reached

With $20 a week, reaching $10k from here would take:
414 weeks or 7 years and 49 weeks

Some time ago I made a post listing all the current websites I use, which is updated to reflect the current situation. If you're curious, you can check them out HERE!
