One Day With Cointiply Only - Does It Rival FireFaucet?

Hi there folks!

Last week I dedicated a solid day of faucet time to FireFaucet only. It went great, even better than I expected, earning me close to $6 worth of Bitcoin on that one day. So much that this made me question the earning edge I thought I had with Cointiply over FireFaucet. The only way to find out was to repeat, as honestly as possible, the same kind of day dedicating my faucet time to Cointiply only this time around.

The key element to duplicate the experiment was to put in about 2h worth of surveys - the main way to earn - during 24 hours. I did just that last Friday, let's uncover the result!

The Cointiply Advantage

Before diving into my Cointiply-only day, let me just recap what are some of the advantages Cointiply has over FireFaucet in my opinion:

  • Better faucet structure. With FireFaucet, on a good day I can claim the faucet 15 times for a grand total of 900 Auto Claim Points (ACPs), which includes 150 bonus APCs from the Daily Tasks. 900 ACPs is worth about 24 Satoshi. On Cointiply, I can claim my faucet about 10 times a day, for a total of 400 coins on average, which is doubled thanks to my 100% loyalty, so 800 coins total. These coins are worth about 160 Satoshi, 6.7x more than FireFaucet. But to be fair, the faucet earnings play a very minimal role in my total earnings.
  • Earning boosters, e.g. consumable and equippable items. This comes with leveling up on Cointiply. Especially once you reach level 71 you have access to 4 slots for equippable items (permanent boosts) and 8 slots for consumable items (temporary boosts). I have a base line of 12% bonus on my earnings and potentially up to ~35% if I used consumable items. On long survey sessions this type of boosts makes a huge difference, FireFaucet doesn't have anything like that.
  • The Chat Rain Pool. This is a bonus on top of everything else and it can get substantial on days I complete many surveys. Over 10,000 coins can be earned this way per day, this is not negligible.

By comparison, FireFaucet has fixed bonus structure paid every level you reach, and a slow "x bonus" increasing at each level. I'm currently level 101 on FireFaucet and I can hardly feel the difference. Cointiply bonus are more explosive.

My Day With Cointiply

No surprises here, surveys were going to be were the action is. Although I could have used consumable items, or bought more pods to get more boosts, I decided to stick with my +12% baseline bonus from my equipped items. Cointipoints, earned for every 10 regular coins your earn, allow you to buy pods and thus get/use items to boost further your earnings without spending coins. The more you earn, the more you earn! Boosts from offers can make a big difference between Cointiply and FireFaucet. They are part of the Cointiply system, take advantage of them and use them whenever possible.

Because of how the Chat Rain Pool works, I was looking to complete as much surveys as possible at the beginning of the Cointiply day so that every share get is bigger. I claimed as much Chat Rain Pools as I could.

Similarly to FireFaucet I started out with TheoremReach surveys to maximize my earnings. I also used a similar schedule - a little bit in the evening, during breakfast and lunch, and throughout the day whenever I could. In the end I was looking to put about 2 hours total of surveys as I did with my FireFaucet-only day. Although I didn't precisely keep track of the time, a good indicator was that I also went to exhaustion of TheoremReach surveys with my Cointiply-only day and only completed 2 additional surveys with PollFish.

Finally, at the end of the day I had clicked on all PTCs available and watched all the short promotional videos. These would not account for much but they are very easy to grab.

My Earnings

Without waiting any longer, my grand total of earnings for that day was 68,227 coins, or $6.82. Right of the bat, that's close to a full $1 more than what I made with FireFaucet. Let's see how this breaks down.

You can see it right away, my survey earnings made up for the vast majority of my total earnings. Surveys earnings actually don't stop at the "Surveys" line. Although short videos also contributed to the "Bonus Boost", all that extra earnings (my 12% permanent boost from equippable items) came from surveys - 6,720 coins out of 6,798 come from survey earnings. My shares of the Chat Rain Pool got bigger mostly due to survey earnings as well. When it's all put together, surveys accounted for more than 95% of my earnings that day.

PTCs, videos, and faucet claims (which included my 100% loyalty) only made up for ~3% of the grand total.

Almost $7 is a very decent amount here with Cointiply for ~2 hours spread out during the day. That number could have been even higher if I had used consumable items to increase my bonus boost. With 8 consumable items that can be potentially used at a time, these 6,798 coins could have been tripled.

Conclusion

Although the difference is not as big as I initially thought, my Cointiply earnings were superior by 15-20% compared to FireFaucet for that one day experiment. Cointiply makes the difference with Cointivity and boost items. If I had used consumable items, the difference have been even more significant. Yes it implies that you are leveling up enough on Cointiply but the reward is certainly worth it and really help boost your earnings.

This being said I not ditching FireFaucet any time soon. At worse it's a good complement to Cointiply, especially when the TheoremReach surveys are exhausted on Cointiply swiching to TheroremReach surveys on FireFaucet could make sense. To me, TheoremReach surveys have the best payout system and I feel that my earnings are decreasing significantly by using another survey provider. I would rather stick with TheoremReach on FireFaucet.

Also, I have spend over 6 months building up my Cointiply profiles and reaching level 71 to maximize item boost. After that much time and dedication on FireFaucet the "x bonus" at higher levels (200+) may become more relevant. For that, I'll probably have to compare these two faucets head-to-head again in a few months.

Cointiply VS FireFaucet? Cointiply clearly wins, for now...
