Here we are, right in the middle of the Christmas Bonus special! I hope everyone is taking advantage of the extra 10% boost on offers and of the large Chat Rain Pools. The Rain Pool was re-baptized "Snow Pile" for the occasion. A big incentive to complete more surveys and enjoy larger than usual rain pools - a deadly combo to accumulate coins like crazy.
Just to have a better idea and an actual number to put on it, I tracked all of my "snow" piles for 7 days last week. Just how much snow did I accumulate this way? And how many coins does this represent in the end, let's find out!
Chat Rain Pool As Often As Possible
Coupled to a few offers and/or surveys, the chat rain pool is a unique feature of Cointiply that allows you to put a good layer of icing on your cake. After the announcement of the Christmas Bonus, I was surely going to take as much advantage as possible of these extra coins.
We knew the snow piles were going to be bigger than the standard rain pools, and as far as I can tell the Christmas rain pools are 3-5x bigger on average. Even in the middle of the day, it's common to see pools with north of 30k coins in it. I was decided to qualify as often as possible and to track all my gains for the 1st week of the Cointiply Christmas special, just too see how much we were talking about. Here is what I got:
I earned a total of 67,550 coins from that one week of Chat Rain Pool. Still doubting the efficacy of the rain pools? I was "claiming" a pool about 17-18 times per day, for about 536 coins on average. You can easily tell the days I did more surveys (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday essentially), and that I didn't do much on the weekend. But even barely any survey in on Sunday I managed to rake over 3,000 coins.
It's very visible here that completing surveys is a gift that keeps on giving. The difference between several surveys (Monday) and almost no survey (Sunday) is 500 coins per pool, that's a big difference at the end of the day, and even more so at the end of the week.
I used the "strategy" I mentioned previously - a simple post & go. Very efficient to say the least as each of these "claims" took me about 3 seconds.

With a little less than 2 more weeks to go for the Christmas special, I can't wait to snow pile even more! How about you guys, have been successful with the holiday rain pools?
