Earning Coins With Cointiply PTC Ads And Videos

Hi everyone,

Cointiply is one of the top, if not THE top, Bitcoin faucet at the moment. A big reason for its success is its reliability and the diversity of options to stack sats. In this article I want to discuss and detail two of the most popular features to earn coins besides claiming the hourly faucet - Pay To Click Ads and Videos.

I realize that not all options are available to all countries, bare with me if unfortunately you don't have access to some of these. This at least what you should be able to do if you are US-based.

Pay To Click Ads

Pay To Click Ads, or PTCs, are the easiest way (maybe even easier than the faucet) anyone, anywhere, can do to earn coins everyday. The principle is extremely simple, you just need to watch a short ad, 5s to 40s-long usually, click on the right captcha image and collect the reward.

On the desktop browser version, you can easily find the PTCs right at the top of your page "PTC Ads" or by clicking "Dashboard", then "Earn Coins" on the left menu, and then scrolling down and selecting "View PTC Ads".

Everyday, Cointiply proposes a selection of PCTs to view. A few new ads often come up during the day, so check back a few times even if you have viewed all the ads. All ads are reset at 0 UTC. Altogether, there's about 300 coins to be collected every day with PTC ads.

When completing PTCs on desktop browser, a new tab opens for each PTC you click on. You need to view the ad for a certain time in order to collect your reward. If you go back too early to the Cointiply main tab, you'll see a time barre active and stopped, you need to view the ad longer. When the time has passed, you'll be presented with an image captcha, just click on the right one to collect your coins.

You don't have to actually watch the whole ad however. Only if you come back to the Cointiply page before it's time the timer stops. If you go to any other tab the timer continues, just make sure to go back and claim your reward after some time.

I found that using the Cointiply mobile phone app for PTCs is even easier. Not only it's very time saving to complete PTCs while waiting for the bus, drinking your coffee, cooking, or during boring business meetings, but everything happens in that one screen that you are on. Once you click on a PTC ad, a new screen opens with the ad and the timer. Once the timer is up, click on the right captcha image you are good to go. No need to go back and forth between 2 tabs to check if the ad timer is over. Better, you can even go do something else on another app while the timer goes, claim other faucets, or even to PTCs on FireFaucet!

Videos

There are 2 types of video you can watch to earn coins on Cointiply.

  • There's the continuous videos on YouTube-like channels with ads in the middle. You get pay a few coins every few ads.
  • And there's the short promotional videos that usually last 10-12 seconds. You earn 12 coins per video.

From a desktop browser, from the menu at top, click "Earn Coins", then "Video & Repeatable Offers" on the left menu. Or, from the menu at the top of the page, click "Dashboard", then "Earn Coins" on the left menu, and then scroll down and select "Start Watching Videos".

Channel Videos

From the "Videos and Repeatable Offers" menu, the video platform I prefer, and to be frank the only one that really works for me, is Hideout.tv. Once in Hideout, you need to create an account (very easy), it will be linked to your Cointiply account. From there, just watch videos (any channel) and, most importantly, the adds. This is a very passive source of coins. What you earn here is Hideout points, every Hideout point is the equivalent of ~6 Cointiply coins. You can check how many points you have accumulated by clicking the green "Reward" button.

Everyday, you can get a small number of free points by clicking "Add" in the little Reward menu. You get about 6 points just by connecting and clicking.

Although this is a passive and slow way to accumulate coins you can redeem them to Cointiply coins anytime for any amount. Redeeming is an easy process, just click "Redeem" below the video, select how you want to redeem your points (using Cointiply in our case), and confirm by clicking "Redeem Balance". The coins are credited to your Cointiply account right away.

My advice however, would be to only redeem your points whenever you can use boosts and bonuses through Cointiply. As these points are considered an offer, any boost/bonus that boosts your earnings will work here. As demonstrated in a previous article during this past Christmas special, you can even cumulate several bonuses.

First thing, make sure you use as many equipable AND consumable items as possible when redeeming. If you have some consumable items in your inventory, this is a great time to use them, the reward will be immediate. When you redeem for thousands of coins, you really don't want to miss an additional 15-30%.

In addition, Cointiply runs promotional events several times a year, with sometimes automatic bonus on offers and surveys. This would be the perfect time to redeem your Hideout.tv points.

Finally, thinking ahead of your big redeem day, you may want to keep 3 last things in mind.

  • With a significant amount of coins earnt, you shares of the Chat Rain Pool will be much bigger than usual for that day. Make sure you can claim as many pools as possible.
  • If you really redeem an enormous amount of coins, you may be in contention for the top 10 spots of the daily leaderboard and earn 22k-35k additional coins. You'll need something in the range of 200,000-250,000 coins though, that's quite a big stack but it's doable.

  • Finally, this won't make a whole lot of a difference but the very next day following the coins redemption, your faucet cointiplier should hit its max at 2.0x. Plan on claiming as many faucets as possible on that next day.

Short Promotional Videos

As far as I can tell (I might be wrong), these are only accessible from the Cointiply mobile platform. They are similar to PTC ads, you watch a short video of 8-12 seconds and earn a few coins (12) when the video is over. No captcha is this case, just close the video by clicking the "X", usually on the top left corner of your screen.

You can watch up to 14 videos per 24h cycle. They really are nothing than a different version of PTCs and will bring you extra coins with minimal efforts.

In conclusion, PTC Ads and Videos are a nice little complement to your earnings on Cointiply. If you are not into surveys, PTCs and vids will be your bread and butter in addition to claiming your faucet. If you do complete a few surveys however, PTCs and videos will never match the hourly coin rate you can get with surveys. This being said, and this is my case, I always have a few seconds to kill here and there and I love to check PTCs in these moments. Free is free after all!

Enjoy, and thank you for reading!
