SatoshiHero - Another Faucet That Pays!

Hello everyone!

About a month ago I discovered a new Bitcoin faucet: SatoshiHero. It caught my attention as, unlike Cointiply and FireFaucet, this faucet pays directly in Bitcoin, which is not very common these days. Similarly to Coinpot back in the days, being paid in Satoshi during a Bitcoin bull market is great as your faucet bankroll retains its value while accumulating your sats. You can take your time while claiming your faucet and completing surveys/offers you know you are not losing value by holding $ or a coin that will only be converted to Bitcoin when you withdraw.

SatoshiHero is very simple and straight forward. Only Bitcoin (BTC) is supported, which is what I'm looking for. The faucet itself pays relatively well but has no loyalty features. The rest of the platform offers a decent panel of offers, survey providers and other mini/gambling games. Despite a rather high withdraw limit - 30,000 Satoshi - my experience with this faucet was good and, most importantly, they pay!

Let me share my experience of what SatoshiHero has to offer.

The Faucet

SatoshiHero faucet is a spinning wheel with different sat prizes, from 1 to 250,000 sats. It has no Captcha at the moment and you can spin the wheel 3 times every 30 minutes.

As you can imagine, the wheel and its displayed prizes are only for illustration purposes - I didn't win 250,000 sats every 18 spins. 95% of the spins end up being 1 or 2 sats, occasionally I hit a 5 sats, and in over 1,400 spins now I only hit 7 sats and 10 sats twice each.

In "My stats" on the left side menu you can see your total gains and total number of spins (claims). On average, I earned 1.53 sats per spin. Which, as low as it seems, is really not that bad. This means that you can earn slightly over 9 sats per hour.

By comparison, with a high "cointiplier" and max loyalty I earn 80 coins on average on Cointiply, or about 12 sats. On FireFaucet, you can barely make 3 sats every hour (2x faucet claims) and if you Auto Claim during happy hour.

So 9 sats per hour from the get go, that's rather good!

The 100-Sats Wheel

After you've used your 3 free faucet wheel spins, SatoshiHero proposes you to spin a wheel for 100 sats if you are "Tired of Waiting". Alternatively, you can also switch the "free" wheel to access the wheel with larger prizes but it will cost you 100 sats each spin.

Off course the 100-sat wheel has more exciting prizes but your EV is most likely negative anyway. Just another way to gamble your sats away.

I have to admit that I never tried it, I'm not very interested in throwing my sats away.

The Surveys

SatoshiHero partners with no less than 10 providers of surveys and offers, including some of my favorites such as TheoremReach, CPX Research and Wannads.

For some reasons TheoremReach doesn't work on my phone or computer when opened from SatoshiHero. (it works on my tablet however!?). It's a shame since TheoremReach is one of the most flexible and best paying survey provider out there.

As an alternative, I use CPX Research with SatoshiHero and also sporadically Wannads, Offer Daddy and Timebucks. CPX Research is only one that pays a little bit if you disqualify mid-survey but it will always be 8 sats. None of the other providers pay anything. For that, TheoremReach is really the best as they often offer more for being disqualified mid-survey.

The survey payouts range from 40 to over 2,000 sats. Overall, the payouts are about on par with what you can see on Cointiply for example (at least for the TheoremReach surveys). I managed to finish a few 1,000+ sats survey and that really helps make a dent in the 30,000 sats withdraw threshold.

The strategy here is no different from any other faucets. Aim for the best ratio payout/time surveys, and most of the time targeting the highest paid survey the best thing to do.

Bitcoin Games & Gambling

There is a good amount of gambling Bitcoin games on SatoshiHero if you like that.

Needless to say this is not for me. But if you like gamble with your sats, these are very polished gambling games. There are all sorts of games from roulettes to dice games to slot machines.

The Referral System

I was discussing Cointiply referral system only a few days ago. SatoshiHero referral system is the best I have ever seen. It's very simple - 50% of all your referrals' money, no strings attached! FireFaucet for instance grants you 20% of your referrals' gains but not until they perform a successful withdraw, so until they reach $7 and withdraw, you get nothing.

I managed to get 1 referral a few days ago who just came for 3 wheel spins, 6 sats and nothing else since. Well, at least I'm in for 3 sats, no questions asked.

[EDIT 08/27/2021] Well, after a few tests and a referral who got in touch with me, it appears that the 50% referral bonus only counts for faucet earnings. My referral reached the 30k Sats for withdraw and I only earned ~1,000 sats of referral money, pretty much his faucet earnings. Clearly not as good as I thought, still the best earning referral for faucet earnings at least.

Withdraw

SatoshiHero's lower limit to withdraw is higher than any other Bitcoin faucet I have tried. You'll need at least 30,000 Satoshi, which at current prices is close to $19. But since the gains are priced in Satoshi, it's not that much of a problem to have to wait longer to withdraw, I know I'm not missing out on another Bitcoin spike.

I reached 30,435 sats earlier this week and went ahead with a withdraw right away. The process is as simple as can be and I was happy to see that the sats were transferred and confirmed in my Bitcoin wallet in less than 24h.

Thank you SatoshiHero!

To Conclude

Pros:

  • Being paid in Bitcoin and not in $ or coins
  • High paying faucet from the beginning
  • Large choice of offers and survey providers
  • Very high-paying referral system if you manage to get referrals
  • This faucet pays, and pays fast

Cons:

  • A lot of gambling options and games, that may be too many temptations for some
  • A rather high withdraw threshold, 30,000 sats is no small feat and you'll need to complete many surveys to reach this
  • No other crypto option if you don't like Bitcoin

In the end SatoshiHero is worth the try with many features you would expect from a crypto faucet. While it may take some time to reach enough sats to withdraw, you know you are not losing value which especially advantageous in this current bull market.

Thank you for reading and good luck on SatoshiHero!
