Hello everyone!
Hope you are having a great day!
I am trying to overcome some difficult situations in my life and yoga has helped me a lot, to find focus, reduce anxiety, and to connect with myself.
I would love to help other people find balance in their lives, so I started a yoga teacher training, and I am sharing with you the videos I am recording for my 300hr practicum hoping they help someone.
Today's video is a full-body 1.5-hour Yin Yoga sequence.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, grounding style of yoga, the purpose of yin is to help the fascial system release.
The poses are held for 3 to 6 minutes.
This yoga style has many benefits, it helps improve flexibility, balance emotions, stretch the connective tissue, boost circulation, improve sleep, enhance and mental focus.
As the compressive poses are used over long periods of time, the body opens up. Ligaments, joints, and bones are compressed with just enough stress to promote cleansing, micro-tears in connective tissues, and pressure on the bones.
During rest, the body recognizes the stress that’s been applied to the tissues, and it compensates — healing to produce stronger ligaments, joints, and bones.
Hope you enjoy it :)
