Danske bank, baby!! TLDR: NOT EVEN a month ago, Danske Bank just coughed up TWO BILLION in cold hard cash to the US banking regs.    Coinbase paid a 50MM fine, the rest was promises to hire a bunch of monkees from gummint work to do nothing at Coinbase.  

Danske Bank's fine was 40x Coinbase's fine.  FORTY TIMES, 4000% !!!!!!   

Pop quiz!!! Q:  Did the Danske Bank scandal make the FRONT PAGE H-LL F$#*(&#$& NO IT DID NOT!!!  It did not even make dead trees at ALL!! 

Q:  Did the FT call Danske "dirty money??" NO, they only say money laundering.  The word DIRTY is reserved for cryptoneers only, baby.  

OK, so that's a regular Watch funny, counterpoint to the FT's drivel, erm narrative.   But wait it gets better!   Look back further, it's a layered funny: a year and a half ago, we see good ol Danske Yep, that's Danske, no CRIMINAL charges over that 200 billion tho!!!

But the hilarious part!!! Remember, the FT is a MANUAL in HOW to do massive financial crime!!! VIZ Tommie!!! First, how many backhanders do you get to launder 200 billion !!!  The Bear Stearns answer was about 30% on large amounts, so!! at market rates, Tommie Burger has an extra 60 billion sloshing around SOMEWHERE!!!  Tommie  should just PAY the 350 mm civil suit!!!! ar ar ar AROOOOOO!!! 

Zoom out for the big funny, a how to steal in multiple parts:  First, launder 200 billion.  Then, quit, beat the criminal charge part.  Let the BANK take the fall for the TWO BILLION dollar FINE, THEN beat the rap in civil court, then retire undefeated on the beach with Ylang Ylang.  AH HA HA HA it's a PRIMER!!!  It's an INSTRUCTION MANUAL!!! The actual Coinbase story is, dear readers know, content free.  Liz Warren sez crypto is the choice of baddies.  Oh ya liz, so howcum Dankse bank Tradfi took a 200 BILLION rap??   Coinbase was accused of letting someone who had been charged with child sex back in the 90's get an account, which they then abused until they were caught.  

OK THAT's a bunch of CHIT.  Unlike, say, Danske bank, all authorities have to do is come to Coinbase or any other AML CEX with a warrant.   This has been happening all the time for a long time now!!! Run an ad for prostitution that is probably sex trafficking.  Pay for it in BTC that was bought at Coinbase.  The feds notice this, they get a warrant, and the CEX delivers the KYL, and the baddies get busted.  TLDR: the FT's bias is ugly here.  This is well known.  Zoom out for a laugh.  Danske bank laundered 200 billion of dirty money, stolen from the lives of the poor, it's always the poor.    It's a court proven fact.  Not on the front page tho. 

On the front page, we see Coinbase.  Did they launder hundreds of billions of filthy money?? NO, they just had a backlog of clients that needed extra AML.   ANY issue the Feds brought in was promptly escalated. 

Moving on.  Fabio's ECB pack of lies makes dead trees.  TLDR:  It's SUCH a great graph!!! We have to print it over and over - like the FT's agtiprop ah ha ha ha HA HA HA HA!!!!  the ONLY answer to this hallucinatory babble is this picture - The biggest, most famous central bank of all time.    Was only their money STABLE?? and DEPENDABLE??  AH HA HA HA !!  this is BEFORE lil britain shot itself in the foot last quarter  debacle!!!  TLDR: even Sugarfix can't spot a dead cat bounce in THAT snuff graph!!! ar ar ar !!!  LIsten to the central bank lifer!!! WHY??? 

Moving along!! Online!!  TLDR: SEC wants more info about Binance buying Voyager.  Conflate number go down, conflate some companies out of biz.  Blah blah FTX, conflate no regulation of actual crypto. 

Anti-crypto copypasta INCOMING!!! 6 billion in the Binance bank run!!  Mazars pulled out!! Conflate GENESIS!! and tweedledee and tweedledums chit fight with Barry at DCG, did we miss any rehash?? That was a fast five shots on top of three already.  

The REAL story: Only one quote matters, the one from Binance.

The gummint wants to see more funds in Binance US, that's about it.  The FT spin includes a kerfluffle about Binance US licensing tech from Binance, but that's about it.
