Is Publish0x a scam?
Does Publish0x actually pay?

I am here to tell you: Don't worry! There is a reason, but it has nothing to do with the above doubts. Straight from the official Publish0x Telegram group, here is the real reason:
So you see, the reason makes a lot of sense. And there is no need to worry.
I have personally just requested my first payout. I have spent the last 30 days writing 20 articles and have not withdrawn any earned crypto yet. Naturally, I became a bit worried that I might loose all my earnings when yesterday it was announced that the payouts were delayed. But after reading the explanation I feel reassured that I will eventually receive the promised crypto.
Publish0x is currently exploring different options to reduce the skyrocketed transaction costs. This might lead to a reduced number of monthly payouts per user or a higher minimum payout. They are even considering switching to other tokens as the main crypto for tipping.

I am personally worried about the consequences of high gas prices for the adoption of ETH or crypto in general. What are your thoughts about it? What could be done to overcome the problem of high gas prices in general or in the specific case of Publish0x? Will Ethereum 2.0 solve the issue? Let me know in the comments.
