On my previous post, I talked about the problems of crypto in faced in Afghanistan.
So, as I explained in the article; there are no ways to buy crypto with fiat currency in Afghanistan. But, as the stubborn person I am, I wanted to get my hands on crypto no matter what, and so my journey to earn crypto without buying them started.
In the beginning, I tried to familiarize myself with crypto as much as I could. The easiest way to get crypto was to mine it, but that was too hard for me since I don't really have a computer with strong GPU or anything so that didn't work for me, then I tried doing surveys and stuff for crypto but that didn't work, either since most surveys are targeted at users in the US/EU/Australia, the survey takers don't really have any demand for users from Afghanistan, so that was a dead-end as well. I tried PTC/faucets and all kinds of stuff like that, lots of scams there and couldn't find any way to get. I had given up for a while until I found the Brave browser, I really liked it and decided to try it a bit. I've talked more about how brave works and what it does, below.
The rewards from brave browser were also low so I just gave up and kept using the browser and after a while when the BAT prices went up, I checked my wallet and suddenly I had around $30 in my wallet, it's not much, I know but it was my first crypto earning and it really made me happy. and, my hunt for crypto began again, and after the GME and Robinhood stuff, I found r/cryptocurrency and how it rewards users for getting upvotes through posting content, and comments! I tried to grind a bit there as well and ended up earning a few moons, which is the reward coin gained from the subreddit and finally a few days ago, I found out about Alien Worlds! I've been loving it so far and been playing the game non-stop, I'll make another post about how Alien Worlds works and how you can play it, but after quite a long ride, I've been able to earn roughly around $50 across 3 different wallets! Brave, r/cryptocurrency and Alien Worlds!
I'm sure I'll be able to earn more crypto and what I can promise is that I won't be exchanging my crypto to fiat unless I really have to, to be able to do my part! Because the whole point of crypto is to use it to trade it with stuff we usually use fiat to buy, not exchanging it to fiat currency after the slightest gain.
