Introduction
If I wanted to keep a Publish0x tradition alive, then normally I should have already published an article about my 2023 Publish0x Articles by the end of December 2023 just like i did back in 2021 with my article "A Review of my 2021 Publish0x Articles". And if 2023 is already a history, various personal circumstances, family gatherings and celebrations after relocating back to Greece from the UK, didn't allow me to do so. Yet, although we are already on the first days of 2024, January Blues are already here, so better than late I have decided to renew my end-of-year Publish0x tradition by publishing a late review of my 2023 articles. Nevertheless, this article can be also served as a guide on my 2023 articles and through the links that I have included, you can revisit them, study them and those you haven't done so you can tip them or re-tip them again as you can tip each article twice and earn the tip provided by the platform.
A Review of my 2023 Publish0x Articles
2023 wasn't any better it terms of article productivity. I always prefer quality than quantity and unfortunately 2023 started with some very bad cryptonews.
In my article "The Binance Redemption" I explain how Binance decided to take "the regulation reform way" and as a consequence informed all its UK users that all earning products of the platform such as Liquidity Farming, Flexible Simple Earn, Flexible DeFi staking, BNB Vault, Locked Simple Earn and Fixed DeFi-staking will be suspended until the end of April 2023 and after that all the funds invested on these earning products will be simply automatically REDEEMED to their SPOT wallet without the possibility earning any further interest from them. The personal shock was tremendous. For the past 3 years when I registered an account with Binance, I became a fierce supporter and user of Binance Earn products either by investing limited personal FIAT funds or by depositing into my Binance account all the cryptoprofits from my engagements with crypto earning opportunities that can be found in my cryptosite "www.cryptomonkey.weebly.com". Visiting Binance app checking my progress there was the first thing in the morning, even before or while going to the toilet!
I took me several months to recover from the shock of Binance UK Regulation, and during this period i almost lost all my interest about my cryptoactivities. Eventually the Fall of 2023 proved to be quite productive publishing on average an article per week for every week until the end of 2023.
After few months that I managed to settle down back to Greece, I decided to revisit my Upland account that sparked my inspiration of writing one more article about the virtual real estate platform with title "My first UPLAND Blue Property" about my first property there that I have decided to put on sale and as a result it has turned Blue!
The tremors of the Binance UK Regulation decision back on April 2023 continued until the end of the year. In my article "The Binance Redemption No2" I explained further sanctions of Binance against its UK users and customers after imposing a relevant UK ACT that included this time my staked BETH funds.
Back in 2021, I made a promise for providing an update about Rollercoin through a discussion on the article "How I invested my #SwapSpaceExplained reward". to be honest, I wasn't paying a lot of attention to the Rollercoin Play2Earn cryptomining simulation platform until recently, when due to its increasing popularity among the cryptocommunity the game started to become much more generous and my interest was also raised. Therefore, It was time to fulfil my promise by writing an article for "My Rollercoin Progress"
During a meeting of the European Board of Directors of ECB (European Central Bank) in Athens, ECB published a report about the progress of the digital Euro and on the occasion, the Greek politico-military magazine militaire.gr, hosted an interview from Yanis Varoufakis about the event reflecting on his past adventures with EuroGroup and ECB back in 2015 when he unsuccessfully tried to fight with bare hands the establishment of the IMF, ECB and Eurogroup. Therefore with my article "A critical eye on Digital Euro" I have decided to translate and transfer to the crypto-community Yanis Varoufakis interesting criticism and opinion on the Digital Euro and European Central Bank as it was stated in his interview.
October 2023 appeared to be a very productive and inspirational month. My next article with title "FIO Protocol Giveaway and Handle" was about a giveaway on gleam randomly selecting 1000 winners for the promotion of FIO Protocol after reading a relevant newsletter that fell on the top of my mailbox, from MyCointainer. For the history, the interesting thing about the FIO Protocol is that instead of using a alphanumerical long address, the user can simple choose a "handle" a "nickname" or an address similar to email address that everyone is familiar with for depositing and withdrawing FIO coins. Also MyCointainer is an Estonian-based cryptowallet with interesting staking rates that I registered few years ago during the post-lockdown crypto-hype and left unnoticed until recently when the regulation mania of centralised exchanges like Binance against the UK users and customers emerged causing costly effects on my crypto activities.
My article "The Hoax of "Getting FIAT Rich Quickly" Schemes" is actually an offspring of my 2022 article "Few Thoughts about Satoshi Nakamoto Part A" a collection of various random thoughts spinning in my mind for years now. Therefore, after several investing-hunting (instead of headhunting) discussions on social media with entities who tried to lure me to invest into their projects to become a rich man, being forever on holidays on the Caribbean enjoying continuously refreshing cocktails under the warm sun with my endless inflationary FIAT dollars, I decided that enough is enough. It is essential for few things to be revisited, updated and repeated. Yet the same questions remain until today taking into consideration the latest hype of Bitcoin ETF that all the big fake "crypto" investing companies are promoting on social media;
Why all that matters among the so-called crypto-enthusiasts is the FIAT inflationary value of a crypto-asset ? Why everyone is chasing the "Get FIAT rich or die trying dream in the crypto-world instead of chasing the real decentralized and out of the establishment REAL value of a crypto-asset ?
Personally, as a passionate HODL CryptoEnthusiast and strong believer in Satoshi Nakamoto’s Vision, in the end of the day, 1 BTC is still 1 BTC. Who care’s about its USD exchange rate ?
My next article with title "My Fat Cointiply Redemption" is a celebrational article for the redemption of my accumulated 300,000 Cointiply points from the platform into my Binance account. As I have said before I don't use my success as a sign of arrogance but as an example of my patience that you may also try to follow to win big and fat. For the past 3 years, I have been claiming the Cointiply faucet continuously for at least once a day, on mobile or mainly on my browser and that commitment provided me the success that I describe here. Unfortunately, my decision to redeem my profits into my Binance account and withdraw a portion of them from Binance to my Limercoin account for the purchase of virtual miners provided wrong as Binance took 20k Satoshi as a withdrawal commission. Eventually, the rest 30k Satoshis that were left, were converted into BNB because simply I couldn't either withdraw them (losing 2/3 of them in withdrawal commissions) or invested them in the platform on saving products.
Apart from the blockchain revolution, my other passion is Motorsports. No, i am not a motorhead but i have been always enjoyed watching the thrill of the F1 Grand Prix from my tv screen since football has become extremely commercial anymore. An article from Valdyr informing about an NFT drop from Mclaren F1 during the 2023 Brazilian Grand Prix provided me the confidence to write an analytical guide how to claim the McLaren F1 NFT of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. In fact, my article with title "McLaren F1 Las Vegas NFT Claim Guide", can be used as a useful guide for any future McLaren F1 NFTs ahead of the 2024 season.
They say that "intelligence is the ability to adapt to difficult situations". This is why the first human beings managed to dominate on Earth until today. In my article "Life After Binance Part A" I explain how, after the tremendous shock of the UK Regulation on Binance, I adapted myself in the situation and decided to fight instead of throwing my shield down and quit. I had to find alternatives ways of moving and invest my cryptofunds away from Binance and after a long research on the crypto market i have decided that crypto.com wasn't the ideal but the best solution that so far I could get. The GetZen.Cash Faucet had been one of my favourite and most reliable faucets for years and together with Global Hive (powered by GameStation) and Pipeflare.io, it was completing a rather successful trifecta of faucets that I have been using faucet donations in ZEN, ZCash and Polygon. My article (initially published with huge disappointment on CoinPayu Article blogging platform), with title "A Farewell to GetZen.Cash Faucet" is a tribute to GetZen.Cash faucet hoping that one day it will be embedded on Pipeflare as it was mentioned on the closure announcement.
My article "Join the SoftNote 1M Transactions Revolution" participated on the writing contest #Tectum #SoftNote. After an initial and possibly extensive explanation of the the current situation of the crypto-transactions based on the Blockchain Trillema, the article provides an overview of the Tectum Blockchain and the SoftNote Payment System, its advantages and characteristics. Finally, I tried to explain the main money-making idea behind Tectum Blockchain and the SoftNote Payment System for the founding company and investors.
The final article of 2023, is actually a non-crypto article, narrating my first hiking experience with the Corfu Hiking and Climbing Club on NorthWest Corfu from Troumpeta to Doukades. Overall it was a great experience, it was nice being close to the nature, socialize and create a bond again with my birthplace after spending several years on England.
