One of the original tank cards is featured in the Share Your Battle Challenge this week. This is the Sea Monsters...
This is somewhat a nostalgic card for me as it was the first card I really loved and used all the time when I started playing the game. I love both Melee attack and heal + high health and this one got it all. Right now I tend to prefer the more expensive Chain Golem as a 1st place tank as it has shield/armor/void/piercing making it less vulnerable. I still use the Sea Monster Regularly though when Legendary cards are not allowed or when melee cards can attack from any position.
The rules of the games were Snipe and rise of the commons. I played my Xia Seachain summoner with the Sea monster as the main tank followed by some Magic Damage cards. Prismatic Energy / Captain's Ghost / Sea Genie all bringing their own useful abilities. The Sand Worm in a safe place was put in to do some big damage to the last card of the opponent ending lineup with the Water Elemental
It was quite a difficult battle as my opponent had one of those overpowered legendary summoners which I was very lucky to dodge mostly with the cards that I played. He also played 3 ranged cards which got him at a point where one of them came in the first place being no longer able to attack. These are the matches I like to see in every game as it was a rather fair and even battle compared to most battles these days.

Important: Treat games in the first place as games and not as investment opportunities, Splinterlands allows you to earn some money and get good returns but you are much better off flipping burgers in Mcdonalds when looking at the money earned for the time invested. Investing also comes with a risk of card values going down.
