It came faster than expected, largely due to a random decision to start writing articles pretty much daily, and then again with a random change in Publish0x payment methods from Hydro to DAI.
I wrote an article on How to withdraw your BAT directly to Coinbase when I was brand-new here (I'm still new). I intend to write another on DAI as promised, I will risk the $1.10 or whatever to prove ERC-20 tokens work just fine on Coinbase. The only caution with that is to never have multiple withdrawals at the same time, because your DAI won't go to your BAT address and vice versa. Pain in the *** for me because I'll have to pause on my BAT withdrawals for a week during a BAT investment period, either that or delay the article (I may delay it, look at the market prices!).
The road to one DAI really only involved daily reading and writing, basic computer and research skills, a little common sense, but most of all it was general devotion, interest, and the ability to produce articles that are not difficult to read and have some kind of meaning or purpose. Even a little meaning and purpose can go a long way, if I am being honest the articles I put the most work into made the least amount of money while the articles I thought would make nothing made the most. Regardless, it developed a following and now they all make something...

As for topics, I like to keep a notepad file full of all the things that pop into my head throughout the day. I always have something to write about, no matter the drama or lack thereof. The market is always moving, so there is always something to write about. If you are hesitant on starting to write I advise you wave that fear and go for it!
