The Weekly Summary - Fitness Edition #5

The following is my latest daily workout for Saturday, April 17, 2021.

I did my stretches and warm-ups, to prepare my chest, shoulders, and triceps for my push-up (or press-up) session. 

Between each set, I rest for about a minute while pacing back and forth briskly. So I walk after each set.

In this session, I did 195 push-ups. The breakdown:

Push-up Warm-up Sets

3 sets x 5 reps

Push-up Working Sets

10 sets x 10 reps
3 sets x 15 reps
1 set x 20 reps

Push-up Cool Down Sets

3 sets x 5 reps

Shadow Boxing

After push-ups I did 5 rounds of shadow boxing to get the heart pumping even faster.

Back Exercises

And I completed 4 sets x 8 reps of back widows.

Back widows are also known as the reverse push-up.


By the end of this work out, I walked 1.66 miles or 2.67 kms.
