'Ello again. Still alive.
Since I don't have proper access to my Greek history sources right now, I thought I'd make an informal start on Roman history.
I've also been between jobs and even between houses right now, so things are a little funny in life right now.
All good, just weird ongoings.
Anyways, I've selected two-hundred battles that built, challenged or tested Rome, and I'll be going through Rome's history, from its early days as a tiny republic in central Italy, through to its days as a vast, all-encompassing empire, right down to its fall in 1453... Yes, the empire lasted that long.
I'll be releasing short posts with less formal self-research done to bring you posts every day, or at least most days.
Also partly as a means for making up for not having posted in months.
Which will resume... sometime.
I may also start some other posts on the side.
We'll see.
That's that. I'll get to work right away.
