The year 2022 will be remembered as a tumultuous time in the world and in the sphere of cryptos. Let's hope the new year brings about resolve, peace and prosperity. Lord knows we need it now more than ever. A little prayer for peace goes a long way!
Yesterday, Christmas Eve, I spend most of the afternoon baking tasty treats for the family get together on Boxing Day for a potluck dinner. I tried something totally new. I combined recipes from my strawberry / rhubarb pie and date square recipes to create strawberry / rhubarb crumble squares. I'd never tried this before and was crossing my fingers it would turn out ok.
After letting the pan cool overnight in the refrigerator, I was able to easily cut into small squares as shown above. Needless to say, they taste delicious. Would you like a piece?
