Why We Need Primus Labs? The Internet Has Plenty of Data! What It Needs Is Proof!

The Internet Has Plenty of Data. What It Needs Is Proof

We live in an interesting digital world. There is more information available than ever before. Financial records, online activity, user credentials, business data and endless API responses.

But there is one big problem with digital intel and Web3. How do you prove that information is genuine without exposing everything behind it?

A screenshot can be edited and a statement can be fabricated. An API response can be difficult for an outside application to independently verify.

In Web3, where transparency and trust are supposed to be fundamental principles, this is a problem worth solving. Here comes Primus Labs!

From trusting information to verifying it One of the technologies Primus is developing is zkTLS, which will change the way the internet will verify information!

The concept is fascinating because it allows internet data and HTTPS/API responses to be cryptographically verified without revealing the underlying raw information.

Imagine proving that you hold a particular financial credential without publishing your entire financial history. Or demonstrating that an online activity actually happened without relying on a screenshot and a promise.

No more "trust me, bro" as the primary verification mechanism. Instead, cryptographic proofs provide a way to establish authenticity while protecting sensitive information.

That's a meaningful upgrade for Web3 applications. This means privacy without sacrificing utility! Primus Labs is also working with Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).

This allows computations to be performed directly on encrypted information. In simple terms, data can remain encrypted while being processed, with the authorized owner controlling access to the decrypted results.

Think about the possibilities:

  • Financial applications processing private information.

  • Confidential asset management.

  • Smart contracts interacting with sensitive data.

  • Applications offering useful services without exposing personal information.

Privacy shouldn't mean making information unusable. It should mean having more control over how information is accessed and processed. More than an interesting technical experiment

Primus has reported more than 1 million users across its ecosystem, over 10 paid enterprise customers and more than $72 million in Proof-of-Reserve TVL across production projects.

Its ecosystem also includes developer tools, loyalty applications, Proof-of-Reserve solutions and Confidential Finance. These are important areas because cryptographic technology needs real applications, not just impressive research papers. The opportunity becomes interesting.

The next stage of Web3 will need more than faster blockchains and another collection of speculative tokens. It will need reliable data, verifiable credentials, confidential computation and infrastructure that businesses can actually use.

Primus Labs is working across several of these areas through zkTLS, FHE and other cryptographic technologies. I'm particularly interested in the intersection of privacy and verification. We shouldn't have to reveal everything to prove something is true.

The internet already has plenty of information. Making that information trustworthy, verifiable and useful could be one of the more important infrastructure challenges ahead. Less blind trust. More cryptographic proof.
