When speaking about Copenhagen's canals, the first thing that comes to mind are the colorful houses of what they call "The Sunny Side". As ying and yang, there's also a zone tagged "The Shady Side". Legend states that in this part of the flow, the King Frederik IX [S. XIX] tattoed himself in the oldest tattoo parlour on earth, in which you can still fancy your royal mark of ink nowadays — Tattoo Ole!
