Hello, and welcome to Publish0x!
This is a crypto agnostic site, where both the reader and the author are rewarded for doing what they love.
Yes, it works either way! You can earn as an author, or as a reader.
To earn as a reader, you simply use the "tip" bar at the bottom of every post you read.
It's really simple to use. You simply slide the tip bar to determine the percentage of the tip you want to go to the author, and how much you want to go to you.
Once you've set the percentages, you hit the "tip" button and your account is automatically credited with the amount of crypto that is equivalent to the percentage you chose.
To earn as an author is simple too. You simply publish quality content on your blog.Readers who like your content use the tip bar to appreciate your work, and as such you earn cryptocurrencies for your efforts.
You can earn either of three cryptocurrencies: DAI, BAT and HYDRO.
These are all ERC-20 tokens and are traded on many exchanges.
There is however a minimum withdrawal threshold for both authors and readers, which is $0.5 worth of any of the aforementioned cryptocurrencies.
In other words, you must have earned at least $0.5 worth of any of those cryptocurrencies before you can process a withdrawal.
Once you have reached this threshold, you'd probably want to withdraw your funds to check if the site is legit.(Spoiler: it totally is😉)
I will explain exactly how to do that with a lot of detailed pictures along the way.
Let's get started!
HOW TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED CRYPTOCURRENCIES FROM PUBLISH0X
Before you get started on processing your withdrawal, you would need to get a wallet where the funds would be sent to.
There are various types of wallets you could use for this, but since most people use the site on their mobile phones, it's way easier to withdraw to a mobile app.
The best and most secure mobile wallet that I wholeheartedly recommend to people who are new in the crypto world is the Trust Wallet.
This wallet is the absolute best when it comes to security, ease of use and visual appeal. It looks better than most mobile wallets, and is designed with features for both pros, as well as beginners.
Once you have downloaded the app, launch it and begin the creation of your wallet.
You would be given your private keys. They consist of 12 words that you must absolutely write down and keep somewhere safe. These words would be used to recover your wallet if you lose or factory reset your phone. They are important because they are the only way for you to recover your wallet and it's funds.
No one at Trust Wallet would be able to help you recover a lost wallet, so it is integral and important that you write down those words and store them somewhere safe.
I recommend that you write them down and keep them in many places around your house. Therefore if you lose any one, you always have a back up.
Also, you could back them up to an encrypted Google Drive folder, for maximum security and guarantee.
Now that you have created your wallet and earned your funds, here is how you withdraw.
First off, log in to your Publish0x account.
Click on the hamburger menu at the top right hand side of your screen.
A drop down menu will emerge.
Click on dashboard from the menu that pops up.
You will be taken to your dashboard. This is where you can see your latest posts and the tips on them(if you're an author), or the total amount of crypto you have earned from tipping(if you're a reader).
Under your balances is the withdraw button. If you have reached the required threshold, the button would be colored blue, and you'd be able to click it. If you haven't reached the threshold, it would be colored grey, and you won't be able to click it.
For this post, I'll assume you've done a good job and you have reached this threshold.
When you click the button, you'd be asked to provide a withdrawal address for where your coins will go.
It's a really easy process to get your withdrawal address. Let's see how.
First off, you open up your Trust wallet mobile app(I have gone over how to set it up previously in this post)
Next, you tap on the "plus" sign at the top right of the app. By default, BAT or any of the other tokens you can earn from Publish0x aren't listed in the trust wallet, although there are wallets for them. So this step is to add those tokens.
A dialog box will pop up, along with a search bar. Simply type in BAT if you wish to withdraw BAT, and then click on the plus sign next to BAT.
That's it! You have successfully added a multi crypto address that can be used to withdraw just about any of the tokens you can earn in this platform.
Now, you would swipe to the right on the BAT icon. This will bring up a menu that says "disable" and "receive".
Obviously we would be tapping on the "receive" icon so that we can receive the tokens.
The "disable" function is used to delete that wallet address for that particular token.
Once you've clicked on "receive", you would be taken to a menu that contains your wallet address.
You do not have to memorize or copy down this wallet address, as you can make mistakes.
Simply click on "copy" to accurately copy the address to your clipboard.
Now that you have copied your address to your clipboard, you return to your browser and paste it into that dialog box that came up when you clicked on the withdraw button. This box is where you would paste your address.
Once you have pasted your address, you confirm that that is the address you wish to use to withdraw. And that's all!
Now you must wait for Publish0x to verify your request.
Publish0x requires that each withdrawal be manually vetted by a member of their team to prevent fraud.
This causes withdrawals to be processed every Monday.
So your tokens will be paid on Monday, regardless of when you request for them.
You will have to wait patiently for some time if you wish to withdraw your tokens on Monday. I suggest that you request your withdrawal on Sunday so you can obtain your tokens on Monday.
And that's that! You won't need to do anything else, as your tokens will be paid into your account once your withdrawal request has been approved by a member of the team.
There is no definite time that you can expect to see the tokens, so you can just keep refreshing your Trust wallet until you see your tokens added.
Your BAT token screen in the wallet should look like this when your tokens have been added.
And that's how to withdraw your tokens from Publish0x!
It's a really simple process, and I hope that this post helps you when you're making your first withdrawal.
Subsequent withdrawals would not require you to copy and paste your wallet address for each of the tokens, so you only have to do this once for each token.
I made this post using BAT as an example, but you can withdraw any other cryptocurrency from the site using this method. Just exchange BAT for DAI or HYDRO when you're following the steps.
I hope you enjoyed the post, and I really hope you found it helpful.
Enjoy your stay with Publish0x!
