One Billion Satoshi - January Update

Hello fellows Satoshi collectors!

January was going to be the beginning of a new and bright year in crypto, it (almost) didn't disappoint. Early in January Bitcoin hit a fresh all-time high, briefly touching $42,000. These few cents of $ collected in September with faucets and surveys were now worth 4x more, and, of course, it is my conviction that this is just the beginning.

In part due to the frantic rise of Bitcoin price, I was going to reach a milestone in my journey to One Billion Satoshi: reaching Gold Reward level on Coinpot and secure a lucrative stream a revenue with the daily 0.08% interest on my Coinpot Token bankroll. The dream was short lived to say the least. Very unfortunately, my plan hit a hard wall as Coinpot announced they were shutting down, less than 48h after I had made it to Gold...

Coincidentally to the Coinpot event, I started to search for another crypto faucet to use, FireFaucet it was. FireFaucet is not Coinpot, and I'm still figuring out if this faucet is worth anything or not. At least it is relatively easy to use, for now.

In the meantime, Cointiply is still solid as a rock and head and shoulders above any other Bitcoin faucets in my opinion. Gains are steady and predictable, withdraws always available and fast, and being level 71+ offers bonuses that can't be matched with any other faucets at the moment.

Just shy of 3 million Satoshi, this is where I am at the end of January.

This "1 Billion Satoshi goal barre" is on a log scale.

Here is a summary of my January.

The End of Coinpot

I don't think anyone saw that one coming and it clearly didn't make anyone happy, except maybe Cointiply owners who might see more traffic in consequence. I had made a mid-term goal to reach Gold Reward level back in November. The strategy was clear and simple, the reward was supposed to pay off months after months - it lasted 48 hours!

As soon as the announcement to shut down was out, on January 16, I converted all the crypto and Coinpot Tokens I had and requested a withdraw of about 280k Satoshi. I really didn't know how this would go, I was hoping I was going to see these sats but I was ready to accept the loss if Coinpot was not going to pay. A week later my sats were still not on my Bitcoin wallet, I was resigned and ready to message Coinpot unresponsive support every other day from then on.

But as I was ready to publicly curse at Coinpot, the payment arrived! That was quite a relief! A smaller payment I had requested mid-week also arrived at the same time. At least all these 5 months of work were not for nothing.

I know several other users are still out there waiting for a payment. Some of you guys have been waiting even longer than my 8 days. Because I finally got my sats, I would advice to be extra patient. If nothing happens after several weeks, get in touch by as many means as possible with Coinpot as often as possible. But my recommendation is to always stay polite and courteous. Repeat the exact same message, very often until you get a response (positive or negative) but stay polite as long as you can. At least until the end of February and the end of all Coinpot activities not all hope is lost.

As for me, given that Coinpot paid what they owed me, I decided to to do one last dance with the Wannads/Yuno Satoshi-paid surveys. As soon as I had confirmation of my big withdraw I tried to do as many of these surveys as I could. If they end up paying these, that would have been a great last rush - over 100k Satoshi in 7 weeks. I'll have to wait the usual 10 days after the last survey to confirm the reward, then on February 10 I'll request my last Coinpot withdraw.

Farewell Coinpot.

FireFaucet

FireFaucet isn't really a substitute for Coinpot but that's the new faucet I'm currently testing. After a few weeks I starting to understand better the ins and outs of this faucet. Although the "Auto Claims" system is slightly different from most faucets, the end result is very similar. In addition to claiming the faucet every 30 minutes, there are a bunch of other options yielding various amount of Auto Claim Points (ACP) and Activity Points (AP).

As usual, all the free stuff, including PTC ads and shortlinks won't get you very far and the bulk of the gains is, as always, to be made with surveys and offers. Climbing the level ladder is the only thing that seems to relate to a loyalty program. Every level you get a bonus in crypto and a higher multiplier bonus that increases your earnings (although by a very small % every level).

Once you start completing a few surveys the ACP very quickly spike through the roof. At 4x claim speed (a parameter you can adjust, with 4x being the max), it will take you about one hour to "burn" 10,000 ACP. One hour of survey will get you more ACP that you can burn in 24h. This confirm my initial thoughts that the Auto Claim system is actually nothing fancy since you don't get your crypto reward right away. If you do one hour of survey per day you won't be able to convert it all in crypto with the Auto Claim system and will have to convert it, losing 5% in the process.

I'll write more about my first month experience with FireFaucet shortly.

Back to Basics With Cointiply

After all, all roads lead back to your good all, rock solid Cointiply. I have reached enough seniority on Cointiply to enjoy max bonuses and loyalty. Every hour spent on Cointiply doing surveys, watching videos or simply claiming my faucet has not match with any other faucet, especially with Coinpot and Satoshi-paid surveys gone now.

Every time I push for more surveys and coins, it pays right away and my bankroll grows faster than with any other faucets Along with surveys, it is also very rewarding to see big bags of coins accumulating after each Chat Rain Pool. Compounding bonuses really make Cointiply hard to beat.

If you have just started or are about to start your journey on Cointiply, grinding a little bit everyday will rapidly lead you to nice and steady gains. Leveling up, adding a few equipable items, and occasionally consumable items through your Cointivity profile will boost your earnings immediately and in the long run.

Keep stacking sats, and thanks for reading!
