The founder of decentralized lending platform Aave (LEND), Stani Kulechov, made an interesting proposition to Elon Musk via Twitter on August 21, telling him that he would one day like to see cars be used as collateral to borrow USD Coin (USDC).
- Kulechov tweeted that that he would excited if it people could collateralize cars to borrow USDC for affordable mars trips, tagging Elon Musk
- Musk, someone who has spoken positively of cryptocurrencies on many occasions, has not responded
- Recent TradingView data shows that Bitcoin (BTC) and Tesla are the most viewed assets on the platform
- The next version of Aave hints at features that will bring greater adoptions, including letting users repay debts with collateral and tokenizing debt
