It's been a funny week in the FT crypto watch ! But some big funnies elsewhere deserve a quick laugh. Plus, mostly good news once we ditch the Tradfi bias!!
BTC miners SAVE THE POWER GRID in Texas!! 
We are ALL about to face another giant wall of hate for PoW the minute the Merge works. In reality, economics ain't that simple. Texas Gov. Abbot brought in a bunch of BTC miners to fund beefing up the grid. Texas now leads the nation in alternative power. THIS year, RIOT made two months worth of BTC mining money by shutting down for a week when agreed! That's right, BTC saves the grid, leads the world in ESG energy. Remember that the next time some losers whine about PoW. Which will be soon.

Binance is launching Soulbound on BNB for decentralized, uhm, proof of KYC? Still don't get it, but Vitlek & pals are a LOT smarter than us. 
If ya know ya only have a little soul left, do ya still have soul? Maybe not cuz there ya go talking about soul again. Most folks and projects that have soul don't say soul very much. Except SOUL TRAIN!!! 
Still looks like a DeFi social credit rating to us, sounds CBDC like, skip it!?!?!! OK, give it time. Hard to think CZ & V can go far wrong...
What else is funny? All the feds & their puppets always saying how terrorist & evil crypto is. Which is funny, since BTC is 100% trackable, and the gummint proved that by giving Chainalysis buckets of money for tools to watch the parade ! More importantly, a new report is out
Anarchocrypto points out 0.3% of all crypto is illicit, and 0.05% of that is terrorist group related. Which may include the PTA housewives and Jan 6th protester, but still a total of 0.0015% of all crypto is terrorist dirty. Remember that the next time we have to listen to bitcoin is terrorist nonsense.
Other big funnies include Larry Fink, BTC hater from Blackrock, doing the 180, in love with the fees from running 50 bn of short term debt for Circle USDC. Which means it's ALL good with the gummint, trust Larry for THAT.

What else? In a welcome gasp of sanity, Voyager was able to give clients back the cash deposits that were frozen in Metro bank in NYC. Evil flying monkey lawyers had been plotting to put that money in the pool to milk to pay the lawyers!!!

After the Merge, we all get a choice of ETHS or ETHW. In any rational world, miners will agree and we will all move to ETHStake. But in OUR world, a lotta ETH miners gonna have obsolete equipment, and our world also has chitcoin king Justin Sun around to promise giveaways of ETHW just to keep the world confused and chitcoiny.
