Calm down, silence doesn't always mean it's all over. So here are some of the new features that have arrived in Horizon Forge and are shaping our game! Not all of them arrived in version v1.6.0, so this is more of a compilation of what we've done in the last few days.
First of all, have you checked out the Horizon Forge page?

Menus
First, a simple but necessary improvement for the desktop version: we've changed some menus to make navigating Horizon Forge easier and more enjoyable. The menus that were previously at the bottom are now at the top of the main menu:

To make it more efficient, the Settings menu, as well as the action to review purchases (skins and backgrounds), and the option to log out of the game are now subordinate to the frame displaying the logged-in user's name. So now, clicking on your username will bring up several actions you can perform. The idea is to add more features to this menu to save space and improve efficiency.

I still have a few more things to change in this part of the menus, but that's for future updates.
Portuguese (Brazil) Localization
Something that was also highly requested, I managed to make the necessary modifications to put the game in both Portuguese and English. Initially, everything was in English, but I couldn't leave out my native language, especially since it's easier to show and explain the game and consequently the Hive to the people in my life.

Regarding Spanish, it's not a priority for me right now. That doesn't mean I won't do it, but at the moment I think English and Portuguese adequately reach the HF target audience.
Campaign
The first topic already gave away a new menu, but that's okay, here it is! The first chapter of the campaign mode is now active, with five epic battles for you to enjoy and earn some equipment!

Everything is completely free, just log in, battle, and claim your reward. Remember that the equipment isn't NFTs, but when you win it, you can equip it and make your heroes much stronger for future battles.
The first chapter of the campaign, as well as the idea of equipment and RPG elements within the game, were developed by @vempromundo, who have been very supportive of the idea of growing HF and becoming a complete game offering many experiences for players!
But it doesn't stop there, hold on, there's a lot more cool stuff coming thanks to the amazing ideas from vempromundo!
Menu Formation
I've wanted to make this change for a while, but I was too busy implementing it. The old menu had a version more geared towards mobile, and well, it will still be there in the mobile version, but in the PC version, we have room to work with larger and more dynamic layouts, so why not improve that too?

I believe everything has become more intuitive and faster, but it doesn't stop here. Any and all feedback will be heard, and we will try to implement it if it contributes to improving the game.
So, now you enter the menu, choose one of your three decks, search for the available heroes (there are only 8 so far), with a single click they go to "Unit's Deck," you give them a cool name and click "Done," and that's it, you're ready to battle!
Need to remove one? Just click on their image in the list below ("Unit's Deck") or click "Clear Deck" to remove them all! Much faster, easier, and more organized. If you find any bugs or anything that seems strange, please give me feedback so I can investigate.
Info and Gear
In the same training menu, clicking the "i" on the right side of your view will open the information and equipment menu, allowing you to see everything related to your hero.

The menu remains the same as before, but in the PC version it opened in a short, cramped frame that scrolled from right to left. Now, you have a centralized frame opening to see everything related to your specific hero.

This way you can already see the information about the hero and their equipment, and you can even equip them if you want. This part is much better now, in my opinion it can still be improved and I will think about what I can do for future versions to make this part cleaner and more efficient.

This part about the equipment is really cool, designed and implemented by vempromundo. All heroes start with a base, but players will have the freedom to customize each hero with the equipment they want, making each one more unique and incredible.
Equipment Chests
Taking advantage of the momentum, we also have the purchase of chests to receive equipment. With each purchase, the equipment obtained is random, meaning it could be anything from common to legendary equipment; it all depends on luck.

We're gradually improving this aspect. I believe we'll implement an internal market so people can buy and sell their items in the future, so things will get quite hectic when many pieces of equipment are found and the market is put to the test. What will the Horizon Forge universe look like then?
Below, after opening a chest, we have a confirmation frame about the item obtained. I'm already working to improve this frame and make it more beautiful and informative.

This is a summary of the changes, and to be honest, there's still a lot to do and implement. We're already considering adding a ranked mode to the game, with a really cool reward system at the end of each season. Here's a little spoiler: we'll have an initial reward system, but it could grow significantly, depending on the players themselves. Intrigued? Keep following us to find out what's coming next!
Furthermore, I still need to add more heroes to the game. This part is more complex because we have to carefully consider stats, abilities, create the images, and then implement everything within the game.
But don't worry, things will improve slowly, and Horizon Forge will become an increasingly unique game, with dynamic and differentiated mechanics. Plus, everyone who plays helps us with their feedback to build something sensational for the entire ecosystem!
