Recently I wrote an article about how to transfer your BAT from Publish0x to your Coinbase account. It entailed withdrawing your funds from Publish0x to MetaMask and then from MetaMask transferring them to Coinbase Wallet. Someone brought up a very good point that Coinbase itself is an exchange where you can buy/trade/sell Cryptocurrency and not an ideal place to store your currency. So I wanted to write another guide on how to Transfer your BAT to a Coinbase Wallet.

*Coinbase the website where you can exchange currency is "Coinbase Consumer"*

*Coinbase Wallet is the mobile app that is an actual Crypto Wallet where you own the keys to it and have full control, it is more secure than the Coinbase website and everyone should have it!*

So Coinbase Wallet can hold all currencies that Publish0x pays in: HYDRO, DAI and BAT. And the beauty of Coinbase Wallet is that there is just 1 Ethereum address for all of those crypto's. So in Publish0x you can just use your 1 address and then withdraw all your tokens to that one address and Coinbase Wallet will put it in the right spot in your Wallet.

First thing you need to do is to download the Coinbase Wallet app from your appropriate App store.

Then open up the app.

Click on 'Create New Account'

On the next screen you will need to pick a username that isn't already taken. I don't think you can change this later (or at least I haven't been able to find out how so pick carefully).

With Coinbase Wallet there is no KYC requirements so you don't have to prove who you are with personal information.

After you picked your username you need to click on 'Create a new Wallet'

Accept their Terms of Service and enter your username.

Next you will be ask how to secure your app. I would highly suggest fingerprint if your phone has it, or if not then a passcode.

It will give you your recovery passphrase. DO NOT LOSE THIS PASSPHRASE! If you lose access to your account you need this passphrase to regain access. Write it on a piece of paper and put it in a safe if you can.

After that you have a newly created Coinbase Wallet on Coinbase Wallet :)

Now at the top of the screen go to "Receive" and click on it. 

Then click on "Ethereum" towards the top. It will give you a QR code and your address. This address is the same for all your Ethereum based currencies. So this is the address you will need to input into Publish0x as your withdraw address.

Go to Publish0x setting page and find the Wallets tab. This is where you need to paste your Coinbase Wallet Ethereum address.

**EDIT/UPDATE**
When you change your Ethereum Address in Publish0x you will be sent an e-mail confirming the change. You need to accept the Address change before moving on to the next step!!!!

Now go to your Payments screen in Publish0x and click on the withdraw buttons on the right hand side. If you have enough coins you can withdraw all at once. Note though that you can only have 1 withdraw per coin at a time.

The withdrawal process on Publish0x is long unless you do it on the weekend. I believe they pull the funds on Monday or Tuesday (I can't remember). So you will have to wait until then to get your coins in your Coinbase Wallet.
