On October 5, 2021, the open source and ultimately web3 compliant multi-chain Pali wallet will be made available as a Chrome browser extension wallet. Developers can use a single wallet to support Bitcoin and Ethereum-like web interactions to build their dApps, NFTs marketplaces, defi projects,, and especially using Syscoin Core & the NEVM when released, and Pali Wallet will be the first Web3-compatible Bitcoin wallet out there! Along with hardware wallet support, Pali wallet is both Bitcoin Core/ HD BIP 32 and Web3 compliant when completed. The wallet was developed by the Syscoin Platform in close collaboration with https://Pollum.io, and the Syscoin community will finally have access to a wallet that offers support for hardware wallets! While initially supporting $SYS Syscoin, Syscoin Platform Tokens (SPT) and NFTs created on Syscoin, it will eventually connect to Metamask and Syscoin NEVM that is compatible with  Ethereum EVM, and other Ethereum compatible EVMs, such as Binance Smart Chain. One can be assured that other chains will be interested in this wallet!

As mentioned, the development was substantially pursued by the Syscoin Platform which offers fast and low-cost tokens, assets, and NFTs secured by Bitcoin's censorship-resistance and hashrate. One critical key component missing so far was a browser extension wallet, so the Pali browser extension wallet will close that gap.

The Syscoin Platform's immediate development goal is the  NEVM (Network-Enhanced Virtual Machine) which just went testnet and prides itself to offer the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum, as it will provide low-cost smart contract execution and true scalability using zkRollups, along with generalized cross-chain interoperability, all secured by Bitcoin consensus on L1 .

With Syscoin NEVM now being in testnet - for technical details following this link and due to be released after just a few weeks of testing without any  major hickups, Syscoin Platform will have completed its crucial design goals - and that much sooner than many of the venture-capital based high cap projects that are still struggling.
