Giving away your investment plan usually isn't a good idea because others may frontrun you. With Ethereum, though, I'm not worried about you guys frontrunning me at all. Why not? Because the gas fees won't let you! XD XD XD So I'm giving all of my strategy away and don't give a fuck.
Goodbye, and good riddance, Ethereum. I'm leaving you and your farty gas fees in the fuckin dust ASAP.
Even with an expanded portfolio, I can't move in and out of projects freely on the Ethereum network. I used to think that $1000 buys could outpace gas fees. I used to have a $2000 minimum for yield farming. These new and improved gas fees, however, made even those numbers bullshit. I've been farming sushi and badger for weeks now and seen my TVL triple on all of those farms because of the rise in the total market. I still can't take out my rewards at a profit because of gas. Gas eats up 100% of my fuckin rewards.
I do get a bit of relief from the Ethanol project, which is focused on gas rewards. You get a percentage of your gas back in Ethanol, which has appreciated quite rapidly in the bull market. I'm bullish on the project because it works well, it's needed and it's still a low market cap at under $4 million at the time of this writing. I haven't really checked out the competitors like Chi Gastoken or that other one I can't remember... UNDG? UMDG? because I'm scared to buy projects at this point. I think you need a $5K minimum buy and $10K for yield farms now, and there are just better ways to spend that money than on the Ethereum network.
We all had to take this shit 6 months ago. We don't now.
BSC is Jesus, if you didn't know. And Avalanche is expanding quickly. There are now viable alternatives to the highway robbery occurring on Ethereum. And if you look at the prices of these tokens like BNB, AVAX, and ZERO (the bridge swap between ETH and AVAX) you can see money moving. Smart players and even whales get it. Ethereum, in its current state, is becoming too much of an annoyance to focus on.
That doesn't mean ETH is dead. Institutions are behind our curve, and they are just getting in. They're also getting in with much more money. Let's face it — Ethereum Network was really made for them. They'll be right at home. I'm going to let the ETH price pump my bags one more leg up, and then I'm going to start getting out. I've already moved every project that Binance Smart Chain supports to BSC regardless of the fees to move.
I'll stay in the incubators that I'm already in and watch those spaces for limited sales. If I can get in on those and get a quick 10-50X, that's the only thing Ethereum network is really good for. I'll immediately take that money and siphon it into one of these other chains. I'm also going to be watching the volume and TVL on Uniswap as opposed to its altchain clones. As I see Uniswap volume drop, my volume on Ethereum will drop as well.
Frontrun me all you want. You don't have the gas. XD XD XD
