Scammers on rampage
2023 saw a better crypto revolution; however, scammers were also able to lure naive investors and then betray their trust. For example -

- Unlisted Project Scam - Megabot
- Crypto Manager Scam - Haru Invest
- Bankruptcy Scam - Prime Trust, Safemoon
- Influencer Scam - Bitboy Crypto
- Hack Scam - ZigZag

There was also time when Scam-Expose battle collide and crypto world got involved in it, for example ZachXBT v Jeffery Huang (Machi Big Brother).
Compromise by Crypto Industry

There were also situations where the platform had to compromise with the hackers. For example -
HTX Global and Poloniex convinced their hackers to keep 5% of the stolen funds as Whitehat and return the rest. Star Arena allowed hacker to keep 10% as Whitehat.
