I do agree on the 5 tags not being much but we can use the most relevant 5 tags to make the most of it. I mean your whole article is about Publis0x, which you haven't tagged but 1 mention of Bitcoin makes it a tag-worthy? Again, this is not an attack but intentional or unintentional behavior like this will make this platform look very scammy.

Hey, nice post. One constructive criticism... Not even sure about BAT but let's ignore that one.. Do you really believe this article is associated with BTC, Ethereum and XRP enough to use those as tags? Not trying to be mean or anything, I just care about how this platform develops.

The Tipping Process Will Soon Be Changed At Publish0x For The Better

26 Mar 2020 Smoljanović

26 March 2020
I do agree there is a lot of challenges with the existing model. On top of what you already mentioned on buddy-systems and begging, I think there are also a lot of issues with the human greed (I can't put a value on whether the reader or author is more deserving but something tells me there is a big portion of readers maximising their own gain instead of tipping the author, which doesn't sit fully right in my mind. I sometimes wonder if most of these people would still be here if the tipping scales were changed to let's say reader being able to make max 20-30%, instead of up to 80%). To make things worse, readers can choose to do so without even reading the post - Just scroll down and click. So a revamp sounds great, as long as you are clear on what you intend to achieve, you believe your solution works and you are aware of the risks that come with it. You said it's a complementary system with own funds but does that mean the existing systems is not influenced at all? Will people really be willing to pay from own funds? Lets say some will... Will these people contribute a decent amount to lead to an impact? If you do want more feedback, more details on the solution in progress would be helpful.

Epic parabolic move coming for Bitcoin 🚀

17 Mar 2020 valuevision

18 March 2020
I am not sure about likening Bitcoin to NASDAQ is correct, but let's say it was... Is there any particular reason you are picking the NASDAQ Inc (Nasdaq Company) vs NASDAQ Composite? Also, why the 2007-2008 crash to compare? Why not compare to the 2000 crash (NASDAQ Composite) when the picture didn't look as parabolic, which also took it about 15 years to get back to the same level? But ok, let's go with the 2007-2008... Do you realise that "parabolic" rise took 10 years...?

Agreed. I mean I don't know what kinda pricing they apply to advertisers but I imagine it is well connected to the market pricing at a given time. The rest is their inner working but not much different than lets say I was buying a "donut" for 1USD today and tomorrow the advertisers wanted to but that from me and based on the market conditions were willing to pay 2USD great. If they only wanted to pay 0.5USD not so good for me and I might not want to sell or sell at a loss to me on some occasions. But of course this is a lot more complex as you have more parameters to play with. Advertisers are probably not so interested in number of bats they will get. More about how much they pay to reach X number of people. So the rest is for Brave to balance and I think they have no interest in dumping on the market.

Fun to read analogy but but I am with CryptoSorted on this one. The way I see it is that BAT is "inventory" for Brave to sell. Looking at the timing with the dropped prices on the given day, I imagine this is a move to buy some inventory at a lower price point, probably with a goal to sell that at a higher price later on.

Forex Vs Crypto trading: I tried them both out, so you don't have to. Here are my results.

Yeah, I agree - I mean it's always the case: the more people that respond, the better the insights. I do think it is an interesting concept to let the reader decide how much to give from 20-100%, but given the human temptations I do wonder how people are motivated (to tip author vs themselves) when it's so open. Saying that, if the choice to tip the readers so much was removed, I wonder if a good amount of people would be interested in participating.

Thanks for sharing :) That is an interesting way to think about. I think some people may be tempted to see this as a easy way to make few cents and put up content without thinking. And your approach would encourage them to put out higher quality content.

Suggest a Topic for the Next Publish0x Writing Contest - Get $10 in BAT if We Use Your Idea!

Going off from "Preference will be given to contest ideas that will also be interesting to an audience that is not yet aware of Publish0x.com", I would guess easiest group to pull into publish0x would be users of similar platforms. So a topic could be: Why I choose Publish0x vs. [***insert alternative similar platform (ex: coil, steemit, etc.) or just any other platform (medium, etc.)***] @igort - it would be interesting to know the ambition/vision/rationale for such a content to come up with the best ideas?

Completely agree - I mean I don't think anyone is planning to make a living off of here but most authors would probably would get discouraged if a lot of people said the readers give them the absolute minimum possible, while keeping the most for themselves.

You are right, even though 17/200 sounds low its probably a decent response rate in the scheme of things. Of course I don't know what some of the most popular posts would typically get in terms of viewers. I mean, instead of ~200 if 1000 people had read and responded with the same rate, that would have been a pretty good sample group. Oh and yeah I would respond to a survey that sounded interesting/relevant, especially if it was so easy (1 question). I kinda wish I was able to have the survey within the post though - That extra step of clicking on a link to go to survey is clearly too troublesome.. 😛 What surprises me the most is the few people that made it to the survey and then didn't answer haha
