Find Your Next Favorite Writer: 5 Publish0x Authors You Should Know

By ZeroRequiem | Zero Ex | 28 Dec 2024

I was thinking earlier today that I'd love to see Publish0x get more engagement and support from the community. I think this can be accomplished, in part, by shining a spotlight on some of the amazing writers we have on this platform.

My goal with this post is to highlight a few writers I am quite familiar with, as I am fond of their writing style and/or content and would like to explain why I have been following them, as you might consider doing the same.

I had made a post last year with the same idea; to highlight some of amazing writers we have on this platform!

I originally intended on this becoming a monthly series, but I clearly was lazy as it has been well over a year since the inaugural post. No matter, better late than never!

Without any further ado, let's get right into it...

Investigator515

If you love deep dives into crypto, tech, and cybersecurity—look no further than Investigator515.

As the name would suggest, Investigator515 is a professional investigator who also focuses on open-source intelligence and investigative tools.

Their writing style is characterized by clear explanations and practical insights. They have a knack for turning complex (at least complex in my opinion) technological concepts into a digestible pill for the majority of readers.

Investigator515's blog would be a valuable resource for any individuals looking for ways to upgrade their understanding of cybersecurity and privacy.

Dave Sawyer

Dave Sawyer is one of the most interesting and entertaining writers here on Publish0x. I could end the description right there and that should be enough to motivate you to check him out, BUT I will be nice and give you a bit more detail.

A writing style, unlike any other, that keeps you reading until the very last word. I don't think I've ever clicked on a Dave Sawyer article and did not leave wanting more. His articles are full of his humor and wit, which he seems to be overflowing with.

Another thing I love is you can always tell a Dave Sawyer article just by seeing the thumbnail image—the speech bubbles are iconic!

Dave Sawyer is one of the very first writers I followed here on Publish0x and I have not been anywhere close to disappointed. Give him a read!

SeventyFourSeventyFive

Truthfully, SeventyFourSeventyFive is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers here on Publish0x.

I had seen the tomato article thumbnails on the Pub0x front page before, BUT this article is what originally put SeventyFourSeventyFive on my radar: Dish Network To Sell For One Dollar

From what I have gathered so far, SeventyFourSeventyFive mostly writes articles focused on his opinions and insights regarding a variety of topics, which range from cryptocurrency to sports to lessons for life.

I highly recommend following SeventyFourSeventyFive for some good and engaging reads!

CryptoGod-1

I consider crypto news to be one of the topics I cover mostly. I say this because whenever I see an interesting topic in the news (something I might write about myself), CryptoGod already has an article written and posted.

Sure, I may not have been writing too consistently the past year, BUT the point still stands—CryptoGod is one of the most consistent, diligent, and informative writers here on Publish0x.

Simply put, CryptoGod-1 is one of the best writers to follow for cryptocurrency news!

Lazy Bear

Last but certainly not least, we have Lazy Bear. I came across Lazy Bear around October of this year after reading some of their Rollercoin articles.

What got me to follow Lazy Bear and stay updated on their writings was when they posted an article about Bitcoin Beach, which is a community in El Salvador where Bitcoin is the primary currency for the local economy. I am quite fond of the Bitcoin Beach project after learning about it from B18 (another great writer here on Pub0x...who I would tag, but I vaguely remember they told me not to in the past).

As of late, Lazy Bear has been writing some short posts about cryptocurrency news while also including their opinions on the news.

Lazy Bear also appears to have a creative trait as they not only write articles, but also creates art and sometimes posts the drawing process here on Pub0x. Personally, I love to see non-crypto articles here on Publish0x. Of course I love cryptocurrency, but I think this website could be much more than just cryptocurrency topics.

If you are looking to read about blockchain gaming or some bite-sized crypto news stories, then Lazy Bear is the writer for you.

Honorable Mentions:

Zeke.eth - check out their journey to become a crypto millionaire

logen9f - mainly HIVE and blockchain gaming like: Splinterlands, Rising Stars and HoloZing

idiosyncratic - focused on crypto-related content with an analysis of coins/tokens

Jinno - I was going to nominate Jinno...but surprisingly it seems he either deleted his account or has been nuked by the admin team. Either way, RIP to Jinno on Pub0x.

Without a doubt, Publish0x is my home base for writing.

I had never thought about writing until I came across Pub0x, then after a year of just reading I decided to dip my toes in and apply for authorship. One of the best decisions I ever made in my life.

Without Pub0x, many of the connections we have would not exist. Many of the writers we stumbled upon and now read every day, may never have been discovered.

With all that said, I would love to see more focus on community, more highlighting of the amazing writers we have here on Publish0x.

We could be holding community events and competitions ourselves—this is not the responsibility of Publish0x alone. We have an interest to work towards bettering Publish0x and making it stronger ourselves; "A rising tide lifts all boats".

I hope this post can serve as a spark for readers and writers to focus a little more on this Publish0x community. I think the more writers and readers we have creating content and highlighting the cool moments, the stronger the Pub0x community can be.

Personal Update:

I have not been writing with any type of consistently for more than a year now, and that will change going into the new year.

For 2025, my goal is to write at least one article per week. I hope I can stick to this weekly schedule to give my readers some stability.

It will be interesting to revisit this post in one year's time to see if I stayed true to the schedule and accomplished my goal for 2025.

I have also given some serious thought to reviving the Zero to Hero series, BUT I have not come to a final decision yet.

For those who are not familiar, Zero to Hero was a monthly contest/giveaway where I gave 25% of my Pub0x income to one lucky follower. I put a pause on the series back in May 2023, as I had little time to focus on writing.
