With the rise of tokenization and cryptocurrency adoption, — together with more professional and institutional entities entering the space— the question of how to store the keys that allow access to these digital assets is becoming increasingly important. In this article we will present the different options for storing digital assets (the keys to access them, to be more specific) and discuss the risks and responsibilities involved. Eventually we present a scale to compare the different types of solutions.
