This is Cambodia, previously known as Campuchia. I could never understand why a country would change it's name, until I went back about a year ago, but that's a whole new post. I took a trip to Phnom Penh because I had been in the country for a couple of years without let a big, so my Visa agent told me I had better go out and come back. (They've got some strange visa rules here, which change nearly weekly it seems!).
I found Phnom Penh to be a really pretty city. Unfortunately, I'll have to dig for some more shots as I can't find the shots I wanted to show here.
I took a Tuk Tuk (Motorbike towing a 4 - 6 seater trailer, not as elaborate as the Philippines, but still nice). I asked the driver to just take me around the city for an hour. It was like I'd asked him to make a life or death decision!
Anyway, he took me around back streets and nowhere near any of the beautiful spots I found later!
But here's a look at day to day life in Cambodia.

Like all tropical climates, during the wet season it often rains in the afternoon. It's normally quite heavy but doesn't last too long and today was no exception.

Quite a few of these shots are not the greatest because the roads in suburban Phnom Penh are the smoothest to say the least and I was shooting from a moving vehicle.

Next time I make a post on Cambodia I'll try and show you some of the beautiful architecture in Cambodia.
