I chose to vote for Donald Trump in 2016, but I didn’t know what to expect. Not really knowing enough about him, I wasn’t sure if he would do what he said. I agreed with his platform wholeheartedly. However, after watching him for the last four years, I have concluded that he is a man of his word. I don’t always like things that he tweets, but I try to always vote for the platform, not the personality.

I have learned very quickly not to believe everything I hear about this president (or anything else for that matter). When I hear something negative I go to the source material to research. In doing so I have come to the conclusion that the main stream media (MSM) loves to use sound bites and twist them out of context.

Here is a list of ten things that I like about him.

1. Like I already stated, he is a man of his word. He does his very best to do what he says and works harder than any other person I have EVER seen. It’s amazing that with congress fighting him all the way that he was able to do as much as he has done. Even when he had a republican house the speaker was a RINO and therefore didn’t really work with our president very well.

2. He protects our right of religious freedom. He nullified the consequences for the 501c3 churches to talk politically. The fact that many still refuse to do so is on them.

3. He picks constitutional judges and not activist judges. That is VERY important to me. I believe in the U.S. Constitution. I also believe judgments need to be based on the laws and the Constitution with equal justice regardless of race, religion, or financial status.

4. He brought back jobs to the U.S. Many of the politicians have sent our jobs overseas to countries like China and India. I have nothing against the people of those countries. However, I do believe it is the job of the leader of a country to look out for the best interests of its citizens first. That is what President Trump is doing.

5. He has fought to lower our taxes. Amazingly, he was able to get congress to agree with a tax reduction.

6. He hates war so he is bringing many of our troops home. He also believes in peace through strength, so he won’t just roll over to communist countries like other politicians have repeatedly done in the past.

7. He is tough, he needs to be. They say he is a bully, but if you watch, the people he “attacks” are those who attack him. In fact, the stories I’ve heard from people who have met him, say he treats them with respect. Those who call him a “nazi”, “fascist”, “dictator”, etc. are the ones who are using those very tactics themselves. It is appalling how much bullying he gets just for watching out for U.S. Citizens. Whether it’s politicians, MSM, Hollywood stars, etc, they think they are better than us (and want a world government) and therefore choose to bully relentlessly the one person who protects us. (BTW, He is not racist either, he has helped the black communities more than any president since Lincoln.)

8. He is not politically correct. I like that about him. PC is just another way for people to take away our freedom of speech. I try not to offend people, but some will be offended no matter what is said or done.

9. He’s a man of faith. I did not know what he believed before he was president, but what I do know is that he continually gives credit to our God AND he does what he can to protect other’s rights to practice their religion.

10. He is entertaining. This is not necessary to be a good president, but it does make it enjoyable to watch his rallies. It’s amazing with his constant attacks that he can still have a sense of humor.

Over the past four years, I have watched this president closer than any other. Although I wouldn’t do some things the way he does, he is a warrior and that is what we need in this time and age. Against overwhelming odds, this president has done what he promised to do. Therefore, I have concluded that he is the best president in my lifetime.
