Theta - Unstaked additional 15M Theta from its validators

Theta is taking aggressive action to prepare for a very bright future. By de-staking roughly 8% (15M Theta tokens) from their validators, a huge win as this action they are further decentralizing their network! This action brings Theta stakes down from 28% of tokens to 25%; impressive. I look for great things from Theta this Fall and next year, I am biased of course in this matter.

Additionally, the tokens will be used for business development and new hires (think development efforts in/around the Theta Blockchain.) Theta is also set to kick off a traditional marketing blitz to bring Theta increased mind and market-share. I heard rumors of TV, Radio and of course online ad blitz starting soon. 

Theta also announced that some of the $1M prize money for the new Hackathon will come from Theta tokens (I wrote about it yesterday you can find it here - https://www.publish0x.com/theta-network-basics-in-bite-size-pieces/theta-hackathon-with-dollar-1m-in-prizes-xelewvo

Last but not least the tokens can be used to incentivize new strategic partnerships.  Oh baby, please, please, be Apple.

Summary - Theta takes its time to get the technology and the partnerships right, this spells success in my book. This effort to further decentralize control proves out that Theta is in this to Win.
