The SEC's battle against Ripple (XRP) saw a temporary resolution on July 13, mostly favoring XRP. This led to a notable 100% surge in the price of XRP. However, the situation has now shifted when the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has returned with intentions to submit an interlocutory motion, potentially placing the XRP token in a precarious position. This shift is already showing in the price chart, causing for example XLM to take the lead instead. After the SEC vs. XRP was announced in July, XLM had an impressive 107% price gain the same day. But between Jul 13 and now the price have been declining down around 45%. During a sell-off on August 17th the price declined 17%. 



Following the announcement of the SEC vs. Ripple lawsuit's outcome, XLM witnessed an impressive 107% surge in price on July 13. However, in the period between July 13 and August 17, the XLM price experienced a sharp decline of 46%, bringing it to its current value of $0.120. While the sell-off on August 17 caused a 17% drop in the token's value, the subsequent recovery rally has managed to generate a substantial 17% gain for those who purchased at the bottom. XRP's price was dealt a more significant blow compared to XLM that same day, giving it a substantial 28% decline in its value.



Under a strong bullish scenario, the price of XLM might revisit the $0.239 level, which holds buy-side liquidity above it. There is a likelihood of testing this level comprehensively, particularly when considering the indications from the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and the Wave Trend indicator, both of which suggest the possibility of a reversal. But we could also be seeing XLM hitting it's support level causing Stellar holders to sell that would make the price decline even more.
