1. Cardano Price Spikes Up After the Release of Daedalus Mainnet

It happened. Daedalus 1.0.0 mainnet finally launched. After 18 months of hard work, the wallet is finally operational and available to all Cardano users.

This news instantly caused a spike in ADA's price, but this 18% increase also coincided with bitcoins latest uprising of the price, so that might have given it additional boost as well.

2. Miguel Vias, the Head of XRP Markets has left the company

Miguel Vias, the head of XRP Markets, after 5 years in the company, left. He is the second executive to leave the company in 2020. In the past few years, a number of RIpple executives have left the company, including Cory Johnson, Dan Morgan, and Catherine Coley who all went to advance their carrier even more after moving away from the company. Some would say all of this information hints as something highly suspicious, but it remains to be seen.

3. Gemini allows BAT Trading

About 2 weeks ago, Gemini announced they will be adding a handful of cryptocurrencies to their trading array, including our favourite Basic Attention Token on the 24th of April. Well, the day finally came, and real enough, Brave's BAT are indeed now available for trading on Gemini. OP Delivered.

4. Bitcoin exchange via LocalBitcoin hits an ATH in Chile

In the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, with the Chilean Peso losing 27% of its value over the last year, it seems that the hopes of the Chilean people for keeping the value of their hard earned money are all turned to Bitcoin. Conclusive with the 4th of April, the LocalBitcoin trade volume in Chile was at least 330 million Chilean Pesos. Add to this the information from other Chilean crypto-exchange platforms like CryptoMarket who had $281 000 in recent weeks, just before 30th of March, and it seems a valuable part of people's funds in Chile are being converted to cryptocurrency.
