Beauty in the waste or waste in beauty? Unfortunately from any viewpoint, the beauty of nature becomes wasted if we do not take care. It would be nice to just keep an eye on the little things. These were my thoughts last time when in search of great shapes and colours to catch, I stumble upon huge piles of plastic waste floating on the emerald surface of this tiny river. We tend to look at the big issues and fight for ideas like equality and climate change. Arguing about society, people, communities. All of those, it's us! So We, ME and YOU have to change our perspectives to make a step forward in this issue. From my part, I will publish some of these photos, this would be a collection of the current situation, and I hope this would be just a documentation of this idea for the future. The little steps to raise the attention to this issue. We all have to be more aware of the waste we just throw out endlessly. It is important what we believe in. But sometimes, the smallest step, like keep an eye on our waste, our pollution, managing it properly could be a step forward. And it's effective. I was always against climate change, by the simple fact, when in school as a little boy I was dreaming about going on great exploration to take photographs and research the wilds - animals, plants and gorgeous landscapes. (I still dreaming about it, but it became a plan ;) ). One Christmas I received a lovely gift from my parents - the Great Encyclopedia of Animals and after meticulously browsing through endless time as the seasons passed I remember, that there was a great part in it about the climate issues back in the 90s. So I learned about the Ozone, about the effects of pollution, plastic waste ... And I realized the weight of it. So I quickly became worried as a child, that how can I use my little power to not to throw away carelessly anything, and just simple stuff, like step on the plastic bottle before I put in the container, or cut the plastic rifle just in case if that will end up in the ocean... Climate change became a big issue, was eventually before the pandemic. In one of my earlier article, I made some shots about carelessly thrown masks, do you remember? We don't have the time, or there is an endless rational and irrational answer to this issue. The simplest one is the ignorance: just because... Idunno. (Now I have fond memories about that great animation series: Captain Planet... did you saw it? I have to find time to make a small article about that one too.. We'll see.) We have to become more of a caring human being that just ignoring the endless waste. We don't need to become superheroes, activists for untouchable goals, just take a moment and effort and make those extra steps to the container. It starts there. The extra steps are healthy because we move much more, and the feeling of doing something right in less than a minute, or be a little more- take 5 minutes... it's easier and shorter as a level in Candy Crush (really, I don't know - please correct me in the comment if I'm wrong, I have no idea and I don't have time to test it :p ). I hope we are more aware for the little change, and we can leave a cleaner planet behind us. I hope one day, the emerald waters will remain clean and we can enjoy the fluid beauty on the misty morning. Have a nice, clean one! Take Care!
