I was bombarded with the disturbing visuals of waste, junk on the streets. The cigarettes, the small thingies... I was always angry... but after years of the same patterns, these became less flashy. Recently, however, I noticed a large number of face masks, sailing on the oceans of the sidewalks - that's new. So I documented these new, waste patterns on the street as the Misplaced2020 mini collection.

I hope, this is temporary. I still believe in humanity… but sometimes is hard as I walk by a carelessly dropped mask. Face masks become one of the essentials, EDCs, personal item in this period so I still believe it just fell out from somebody’s pocket.

When is still necessary to be aware, to care a little bit more, let’s not forget to be grownups, and think about the environment, nature too. We are part of nature, so emphasize the better part of our human nature.
