Hey folks,
Thanks for coming back to our simple series explaining the basics of the deployment phase and how to win games of Splinterlands before your monsters ever hit the field! Due to how the Rule Set and Mana Cap systems effect each match understanding these systems is critical to success.
Lets take a look at todays Rule Set:

Today has a brutal Rule Set with both Silenced Summoners and Stampede! Silenced Summoners really throws a wrench into everyones plans by making all our Summoners lose all abilities. This is one of those Rule Sets where the cycle of 2 cost Summoners with no ability really shine!
Stampede is a really interesting Rule Set reading "The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.". Stampede can be one of the most deadly Rule Sets but only if you have a creature with Trample, otherwise you get no bonus art all. If I'm being honest with all of you I use the same two creatures in 9 out of 10 Stampede battles.
I don't know about you but I always wanted a dinosaur best friend growing up and, unfortunately, that never came to pass. Now though? My guy Rexx is here watching my back! And he is HUNGRY.
Let's take a closer look at Rexxie:
There is so much to love here but honestly my favorite part is the price point with <$.02BCX for Undead Rex and a whopping <$.06BCX. If you are looking to build a collection on a budget you are going to want Rex on both sides of the grave!
Lets see how he works in this low cost battle:
On my side of the battlefield we have Big Boi Rexx along with a gaggle of low cost backup. Across the warzone my opponent is rocking a chicken, a ghost, and a very powerful mage.
Who do you have your money on?
