She loves to lay like this, even falling asleep upside down sometimes. I like how it shows off her colors of her fur. Being part Collie she has that distinctive black and white coat. She has this funny looking smile on her face drooping laying like that.

She turns to one side after awhile but will still lay upside down for up to thirty minutes at a time.

It seems that she does this to get attention as I dont see her doing it when us humans are not around. She wags her tail upside down when we look at her and its how we know she knows we see her.

If she was a bug I would think shes dead, but since shes a dog im confident shes doing it because shes happy to be around people willing to pet her.
