The TACO app has taken the WAX blockchain by storm! Not only does the TACO app tie the whole ecosystem together on your phone, but their native token TACO is filled with incredible utility (Also read: How to add TACO to your WAX Cloud Wallet). Recently the project has upped their game by introducing extractor NFTs capable of mining a new token called SHING, where SHING can be converted into TACO Ingredients, which can be converted in TACO or used to upgrade Venues within the Taco Universe (Read public release on Taco Universe). Taco Universe rotates around TACO and SHING, and you can also currently swap for each token directly on Alcor Exchange. The current exchange rate is 1 SHING = 0.00008218 WAX (Alcor Swap, 1/18/22). Since you plan on being the top 10 SHING holder in the Taco Universe, or at least getting pretty gnarly taco neck, wouldn't it be nice to see your SHING gains on your WAX Cloud wallet account directly?
1. Go to https://wallet.wax.io/dashboard and sign into your WAX Cloud Wallet.
2. Scroll down to "Tokens" and click on "Manage".
3. Click on "Add Custom Token".
4. On the popup window, you will have to manually enter the Token Symbol, Decimal Places, Token Contract, Token Name, and Token Image.
You can copy and paste the information from this post directly into the fields. Here is the information for SHING:
- Token Symbol: SHING
- Decimal Places: 4
- Token Contract: t.taco
- Token Name: SHING
- Token Image: https://wax.alcor.exchange/_nuxt/img/shing_t.taco.179b6a6.png
If you enter in the information correctly, a green check mark will appear in the upper right hand of the entry window. Click this to save the token.
5. Click on done, and the new SHING Token will now show up on your WAX Cloud Wallet nice and proud!
So, now you can monitor your extracted profits and watch that SHING bag grow in your WAX wallet!! Rumor has it that only about 1,650 accounts are producing SHING at the moment, with an average rate of 1,315 SHING/hour. If you want to be in the top 10 SHING producers, you'll need to hit about 5,100 SHING/hour, and the top 10 accounts product about 4x that amount. So make sure to plan your purchases when you hit that taco drive thru, and grab taco ingredients too! Yum!
