"False Alarm"...

By toofasteddie | Running | 23 Oct 2020

Maybe you were wondering why I didn't post any of my running workouts since Tuesday the last...

The reason was because the whole family were hard locked down at home because, on Wednesday afternoon, my 10 years old son started to get apparently many COVID symptons, fever (38 Degrees), general discomfort, sore throat and vomits...

I was really worried because he does not used to get ill so often... actually, I don't remember when was the last time he got ill...

We immediately telephoned the health center, which gave us an appointment for a covid test (PCR) for my son for yesterday afternoon at 19h.

Finally this noon we got the results, faster than expected, and the output was NEGATIVE so hurray!

It has been, fortunately a "False Alarm".

Now my son is ok, seems the non-covid virus has disappeared as fast as it appeared and perhaps the only effect has been that he is 2cm taller (LOL)...

So, in order to celebrate the good news, first thing I did before lunch was a Fast Run on hills... I really needed it.

I passed by the Olympic stadium and get few pics to remember the day, actually it has been an amazing day.

For a moment I was really scary about this shit of virus punishing hard to my lovely ones...

At least it has been a good experience to check if the Catalan Health System works properly.

Keep on running!
