Electroneum Joins Forces with Cellcard - Cambodian Teleco

What I wanted to tell you all today was just new information that has come out in regards to Electroneum. They have officially partnered with the Cambodian based Telco Cellcard. Cellcard was founded in 1997 and has been destroying the field in Cambodia. They have 3.2 million subscribers and more than 2,000 4G sites today. Here are just some awards they earned recently.

Cellcard offers 4G LTE coverage and up to 80 GB monthly allowance which is awesome. But what does this have to do with Electroneum you might ask? Cellcard has agreed to place Electroneum's M1 smartphone in many of their stores for sale. And as we all know you can "mine" ETN and earn $3 USD a month of ETN. Well that would allow someone in Cambodia to have a 21 day cellcard prepaid plan that has 143 minutes and 2 GB of data. That is almost just free bare minimum smartphone requirements for free.

And on their website the M1 is the cheapest phone they offer for $39.90

When researching this I kept seeing how Cellcard was tagging itself as "Proudly Khmer". After some more digging Khmer are the native Southeast Asian ethnic group in Cambodia. Khmer make up 97% of the 15.9 million in Cambodia. So Cellcard is highly proud of their country and it shows through all their accomplishments.

And to be honest just going through their website it is crazy how much stuff they have going on. It makes me in the US completely jealous they have a Wireless Provider that gives their customers a ton of benefits. They have a rewards program called 'cellcard CLUB', Daily Horoscope and Job listing all built into their network. And this 'Magic Voice' gem!
