Electroneum Crypto Project - Brief list of what they have developed so far.

Electroneum started in late 2017 in the UK and was aiming to be digital money aimed mainly at the unbanked in developing countries via the use of their mobile phone. Below is a list of some of the milestones ETN has met so far in reasonable chronological order.

(1) The 1st development was the Android app with a wallet to hold ETN and a mobile simulated mining function to earn a small amount of passive ETN. Initially you had to keep your phone online but with further releases it mined in background for several days and you only had to login every X days.

(2) An instant payment  facility was patented and released to allow people to transact ETN instantly.

(3) The mobile topup was developed and 1st released in South Africa followed by several other countries inc Brazil and Turkey and most recently with an actual mobile operstor directly in Cambodia (previously topups were done through a 3rd party).

(4) The simulated mining was eventually released on IOS Apple phones once Apple got round to approving the improved cloud mining.

(5) They went through a whole KYC compliance exercise - this will open up huge opportunities with corporate clients.

(6) Anytasks - A facility to buy and sell online services paying in ETN was released into Beta with huge numbers wanting to signup to Beta pilot.

(7) They are on several exchanges inc Kucoin, Huobi, Liquid, HITBTC to name but a few.

(8) They have recently achieved support for Ledger so you can store ETN on your Ledger Nano if you have one.

There are big things in the pipeline including topups in many more countries, the growth of Anytasks once beta test is completed. Plus there is going to be a site to teach digital tasks so that users can sell their learnt digital services. ETN have already got some big partnerships and rumour is there are even bigger ones to come.

The future is bright for ETN. I hope to be a small part of it as an early investor.

My Cryptocurrency Journey (Part 1)
My Cryptocurrency Journey (Part 1)

I started in cryptocurrency in June 2017 when the last bull run was in its final 6 months big run up (although I didnt realise that at the time). My portfolio of about £3000 had reached a total of approx £27000 but unfortunately I didnt cash out so this is presently (5/1/20) worth 50% of my original investment but I am hoping an upturn is underway and I will be back in a profit. I will in next part give some thoughts and tips for newbies (who dont intend to learn technical analysis and day trade).
