Setting up an account
You enter your e-mail address after which you will be sent an email. You will receive an e-mail with a link and a button "click here".
You click the link and get directed to a page where you need to create a password. After you've created your password, you have successfully created a wallet:
In the menu you can find the tab "Bakers". If you click this tab, you can find a list of bakers and you can select a baker immediately and start earning rewards.
I have never encountered a wallet that is so easy to set up and to use. Both creating a wallet, and the delegating process is just incredible simple and easy.
Another great feature of emailTezos is the fact that you can send XTZ by using someones e-mail address. (If that person has en emailTezos account.) EmailTezos completely takes out the use of unreadable strings of random numbers and characters and makes the whole process more familiar for anyone who enters crypto for the first time.
Security
This wallet is obviously as safe as your e-mail gets. So if your e-mail compromised, or if you loose access to your e-mail, you have a problem. If you want to hold serious value and are planning to hold long-term, even storing your keys in en e-mail is not recommended, so an e-mail based wallet would not be recommendable either. A hardware wallet is still the way to go for substantiation holdings. But for less substantiation holdings and possibly as a wallet to use more frequently, this is an amazing wallet to store Tezos.
This is a wallet that makes Tezos accessible to anyone who is able to use e-mail. This is where cryptocurrency becomes usable for anyone who has access to internet. No need to be tech savvy on any other level than the most basic level for anyone that has a computer.
