The town of Sines is located at the tip of Cabo de Sines, in the region of Alentejo, Portugal.

This village, known as the birthplace of the famous Vasco da Gama, can be seen at the edge of an amphitheater-shaped cliff to the west by the Church of Nossa Senhora das Salas and by an old Arab castle, delimiting both buildings for its historic center.

Here you can also find the interesting Sines Archaeological Museum, where Paleolithic and Neolithic pieces are exhibited.
South of Sines you will find the beaches of São Torpes and Porto Covo.
